To use Houx annex club (as opposed to Houx annex), do you just need to be an ACO member?
Also, I am a member, my friend I am going with is not currently a member. I've bought ACO member price tickets for both of us, does he need to join ACO? Thanks all |

No, he does not need to join, when you get to the members area they will give ypu a wrist band each which after that you just show and you can get into the areas. However apart from very slightly reduced prices there are not really many advantages for those paying the extra charge.

Apart from somewhere to charge phones, access to reasonable food and toilets etc. Agreed they tend to be crowded during the day, but overnight they do provide a less crowded more comfortable location.

Thanks. I understand what you say re the members area, but his actual admission ticket is an ACO member rate, does that matter?
Also there is a campsite called 'Houx Annex Club', I was trying to work out if the 'club' bit of the name just meant members. (they normally talk about 'ACO members' rather than 'club members') |

Your pal does not need to be an ACO member to use one of your discounted tickets.
Houx Annexe Club appears to be for ACO members only. |

As far as i am aware Houx annex club is outside the GE area so you do not even need an admission ticket to enter it. I think Houx is the last campsite left inside the GE area.

So, that's it then, Grandstands, Camping, GE's all sold out, most of the parking too, just a few straggly bits of GE and parking for practice days at the moment.

Yep. Within a week there's only the scraps from the table left. In fact, it was pretty much scraps within an hour or so of 10 am CET last Wednesday. I'm really struggling to come to terms with how crap the situation is this year. I'd been thinking of treating myself to the Classic next year as well, but I really can't be bothered.

Yes an overall feeling of deflation. Frankly I'm not looking forward to the event at the moment.

Y'all are making it sound like so much fun to bring a giant American over to the race in a few years for my 50th. Petit and pretty much every race bar Daytona are fairly easy to get passes and camping for a decent period. But they don't pull the same crowd in fairness

Looking at the Telegram feed, there are a few weekend and Sunday GE tickets but no full week GEs on resale.

I was saying this morning just that, although I've only been going since 2019. In that time the agents have massively increased their prices and in the case of Porsche Curves you can't arrive before Thursday now. If I do wish to see a 24hr WEC race then I suspect it will be Spa in future.
