It's a shame RfH will not return but on the other hand they were not very competative (except at LM) and not able to raise the money for a full season the last few years. So better quit the project instead of dropping down the grid. Marketing was not their best point.

Anyway, it is indeed a sad day for Racing for Holland. Maybe Jan can do more racing now, instead of having to worry running a team too. Best of luck & support to him, even though he's not racing what he really wants. Hope to see him at Sebring or some European LMS race. Fingers crossed for a good seat at the LM24 though! |

No Racing for Holland anymore in LMS and Le Mans, but I hope at least Drinking for Holland stays in both ....

Hopefully we can take over the honours in defending the dutch flag as a privateer entry, and we look forward to racing against Jan and the guys from Horag next year.

Without a doubt I can say we shall wave our flags and raise our voices and drinks with pride for you and your team too! It would be nice to be in touch with you guys, like we have been with Spyker (hospitality visits) and RfH (official sponsor, workshop visits) over the last few years. Just keep looking out for those orange smoke bombs and large Dutch flags! But how about your driver lineup? Ideal combination to me would be Lammers / Bleekemolen / Vergers (for Le Mans), but I understood you're looking for pay drivers this year (?) Hope to see you at some circuit, Spa LMS will be my first in Europe (after Sebring). Cheers, paddy@drinkingforholland.nl Last edited by Paddy_NL; 10 Dec 2007 at 08:09. |

Im just happy not to see him in a F430 Mr.brielga !!! I find it strange that he is mentioned with Horag though . What happened to Horag regulars , Theys-Leinhard-Van de Poele ? It wouldnt surprise me to see Horag race the 2nd chassis if the money can be found , why not ? |

I think brielga means an official Ferrari proto. Not a Dallara/Michelotto one

And the LC2 would've looked even better if it didn't have that large hole in the nose for the heat exchanger. On Topic: Jan either had to soldier on with a car that's now nearly a decade old and accomplish little, or put his own organization on the back burner for a spell, and drive for a highly skilled privateer team to keep his driving skills sharp. But that's nothing against the Dutch. Lammers is a Le Mans legend. And Spykers are built in Holland, and the band Within Temptation(great band with an excellent singer) is Dutch. So I have nothing against the Netherlands. But trying to run against factory teams and well-backed privateer teams with a car that was still mostly based on a design penned by a private company(Dome) back in 1999-2000 that was basically at the end of it's development life is basically suicide from a figurative(let alone performance) stand point. Even Pescarolo, who I feel is getting kinda shafted by Sony on the Playstation/Gran Turismo sponsorship, will easily out perfrom RfH even if his team didn't merge with Saulnier. |
