What's with the ever rotating lineups? The usual rent-ride business ventures of Colin Kolles?

Rossiter has SuperGT commitments. Hes Kazuki Nakajima's teammate in the Petronas RC F. So bahrain will not feature him. Who cares if they run different drivers as long as the team competes its good to see.

I guess if Caterham falls to it's knees as it seems to be doing atm, mr Kolles will have more time for this project. Not that the two are linked, but when he does business you can never be completely sure what the hell is going on and where...

Very true. Say what you will about him, if he brought out a book, I'd buy it...

In a way, he's one of the most fascinating (in a lack of better word) people in motorsports, solely because of the weirdness his presence creates when he appears out of nowhere to do something for some reason.

Kolles has a(nother) F1 project for 2015 called Forza Rosso. He seems to want to a hand in everything.

I thought Caterham could turn into Forza Rossa over the winter, but Kolles has said in the current F1 Racing magazine that that won't be happening.
He also says that he's only an advisor to both the Caterham owners and the Forza Rossa people. Not quite sure what's going on with either of these two ventures, but I can't wait to find out. |

DSC's FP1 report from Shanghai indicates that James Rossiter may be refusing to drive the car now. If there are two drivers refusing to drive the car presumably with safety concerns is it time for the FIA/WEC to be getting involved?

From Rossiter's Instagram:
Best of luck to Lotus LMP1 for the WEC race in Shanghai this weekend! I'm in Japan focusing on my preparation for the final Super Formula and Super GT races as we fight for the championships. |

There's an argument for saying that driving a car like the Lotus isn't the best advert for a driver's career. If it's not letting you demonstrate your ability it will only create negative connotations.
Plus if it isn't safe I can see why he hasn't made the trip. |
