My first car was 3rd Party - it was a £1400 Escort which I was prepared to lose. My first insurance on that (when I was 19) was just under £1k TPFT...now thankfully less than half that FC these days!

Yep, i'm going to go for TPFT, since i won't spend much more than £800 or so on the car anyway. If i went fully comp it'd be through the roof.

When it's a Fiat Punto it is old.
(But don't knock it if it's free... and at least you know where it's been/what it's done). |

Sold it for $300. That was a $300 profit, haha. Some guy really wanted it, and my mom wanted me to get rid of it, soo, yeah.

I did have to have a courtesy car for a week or two when my car broke down a day old, but I struggle to fit in a KA, so demanded a Fiesta and it was luxury compared to the tiny motor! |

Well, I've had one 'accident,' one near accident, one near-stuck, and one stuck in the past 48 hours, haha. Got a nasty snowstorm, almost wrecked right in front of my friends house. Attacked the curb in front of my house..and won. Almost got stuck at a stop sign on the way to school this morning, and finally got stuck after dropping my friend off from school, haha. Liberal amounts of throttle, and multiple reverse-drive attempts finally got me out, haha.

I just got new company car - Toyota Prius. Usual stuff on the list: Vectra, Signum, Mondeo, 9-3.
I am from the camp that says mother earth is seriously on the wane. Also, we get business mileage reimbursed at a notional MPG figure. Given that I will do 30k business miles per annum, if I achieve 55mpg (so far at 57) I will make £3k on this reimbursement. Tax is only £80 per month too - £150 (ish) for all the others. I really like this car. |

Here's my car
Jap import Impreza Spec-C with Litchfield Type20 conversion (Milltek exhaust, AST suspention + a few other power/handling bits) When I used it for a Charity event: I get the train to work and my car is for fun only. But I still did 15k miles in a year Some videos of it in youtube.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=QP8hOEDKgIg Last edited by callumw; 15 Dec 2007 at 15:34. |

I'm sure around town whilst in milkfloat mode it would work as advertised, but I can't see it working as a 30k motorway mile muncher. I'd love to be proved wrong though. |
