I know it was Finals Day and the mood was high, but I did find the optimism from Tim, Jade, and Paul at the end of the itv show somewhat reassuring.

I do think this will be an intriguing winter, for both the BTCC and support series, and am already counting down the days until we are back at Donington.

As for new cars, only front-end team I can see investing/making the jump is NAPA potentially, given the fact the Ford seems to have reached the peak of its development window.

Certainly going to be a fascinating few months seeing how it all shapes up.

No

There's a difference between a driver who always finishes just outside the points or always dead last. As someone who follows a series I want to see that difference.

Looks like a farewell post to WSR on Adam Morgan's Instagram. Those will be 2 prime seats up for grabs now at WSR for next season. Will be interesting to see who will be in the mix - think Watson will be for sure along with Gamble and Bobby T. Pretty much the same names as last off-season unless someone comes out of left field.

DB stated that they are working on being a 4-car team next season.

Morgan + 4th car = 2 spaces.

I believe one motorsport still have the 3 FK8s and have the intention of returning in 2025 but we shall see if that happens

Confirmation of the 2025 British F4 calendar, supporting BTCC at 8 meetings and skipping Brands Indy (for Silverstone GP layout) and Croft (for Zandvoort).

Let’s hope the grid grows by 4-5 cars for next year and that a few more teams/drivers can make the necessary improvements to be more competitive. The disparity between Ford, BMW and Hyundai compare to the rest of the grid was quite large this year. Hoping Toyota can catch up into the mix with hopefully Cook and
Huff who I think did a decent job in his first year back more than capable of mixing it at the front.

Hopefully ExcelR8 will field a more competitive driver line up as that really did hinder Ingram this weekend. Chilton had a decent season and will probably remain. Fingers crossed Zelos gets something sorted.

I can't see BT going to them in all honesty. Sure he was brilliant on his Snetterton outing, but the sponsorship issues no doubt soured relations and they (both he and WSR) might not be willing or able to move on from it.

I think the cars across the grid are pretty even, as has been shown by the battles up and down the grid. The best drivers, with the best teams with the best budgets/preparation are at the top.

Watson? Would seem an obvious pick. That could be 2 Team BMW WSR cars and 2 MB ones. Turkington, Morgan, Hill, Watson? Possibly. Or maybe Gamble instead of Morgan.
Was always thinking that one day Blundell would add another car to his "team."

A second MB car would be very interesting. I'd fully expect it to be Andrew Watson given he's managed by Blundell , anyone else would be quite a surprise for me.

Re Bobby - I guess no one really knows what went all wrong with that and if anything is salvageable. Would be a shame if he's not on the grid somewhere.

From his tone - it seemed like it is one of the options to them that they are considering, as opposed to a plan they are initiating.

My suspicion is that the 3rd Team BMW car proved challenging to get sufficient funds in place to run for the season (as we observed). But WSR have been in discussion with MB to see if there is scope for MB to expand to two cars. This seems like where the 'we have to consider if two cars is viable for us' comments have come from.

A few obvious things for the avoidance of doubt:

- Hill expects to defend his title with WSR
- Ingram testing in the upcoming weeks so can be expected to remain with Excelr8

and also Huff ’hopes to remain’ with Speedworks: https://www.autosport.com/tcr/news/b...cord/10661524/

I can see the grid looking something like,
4X Napa (Unchanged)
4X ExcelR8 (Unchanged with Zelos)
4X WSR (2 MB/2 BMW Turkington/Hill unsure on rest of line-up)
4X Speedworks (Huff/Cook to remain, Watson/Moffat I am not so sure)
3X PMR (Unchanged + another, given the car's performance would seem that you would have sufficient driver interest for the 3rd entry)
3X Restart (Unchanged + another, can see them able to expand potentially)
2X Unlimited (DeLeon + another)

Porsche calendar will be key to whether we have guest supports. I don't know how much sway TOCA has in ensuring there are a minimum of 4 supports at each round, given Gow hinted earlier in the year (I think on TTT/radio interview) that he expected a consistent support package throughout 2025. Brands Indy/Croft only have question marks, as without F4, you'd need both Carrera Cup GB/Sprint Challenge GB at these events.

I haven't seen a full Porsche 2025 calendar, but PCCGB are skipping Brands Indy which opens the door for Legends to return as a guest support.

Probably not far off. Could see Pearson in the second Team BMW car and Watson in the second MB car at WSR if that happens, and possibly even Morgan replacing Watson at Speedworks.

More of a story for 2026 this one. Alliance plans to replace Fords for 2026. A new manufacturer with a FWD saloon car, work underway already led by Antonio Carrozza. Had hoped for new car in 2025 but still a work in progress. Also talk of Alliance being involved in a GT3 building project with the same manufacturer. Fords to be updated for 2025.

Great news! So we have a year to figure out a manufacturer that offers a FWD saloon and some from of RWD car for GT3. Sounds like there would be considerable manufacturer backing. Well connected to the UK I would suppose if they’re asking Alliance about GT3 development.

With the influx of Chinese manufacturers, I wonder if any of them would consider something like the BTCC to boost their image, although I suppose they’re all electric.
