i have to say i'm not happy with my performance in that race.
i was averaging around 3-5tenths off what i'm capable of every lap, especially in the first half of the race, very scrappy. i know that i'm capable of averaging close to what ayse was doing but i just couldn't get any consistency going. having said that 6 laps in a row in the 20's is very impressive, and ayse was a very deserving winner. just had that edge in raw pace. |

I stayed right on the run down to T1, just to not swerve across anyone. It was really foolish of me not to think that if i didn't continue to stay on the right after the corner, someone might hit me, or me hit them rather. |

just lots of little errors most laps in the first half of the race, lots of high 21's a few 22's and a 24.
very average driving i must say. |

What happened to all you guys at the start? I was amazed to find myself p1 going into the first corner. I couldn't believe my luck!

I was really on it.
I blame a large part of my deficit to the winners on that T1 incident. That was my fault. But i am annoyed i couldn't at least catch up with Owen, having been helpfully steered off the track three times. I'm utterly amazed at the times i was doing towards the end. My best laps were doen on full fuel. So, i'm really quite happy. Monaco in the cooper i have that car negative, so i'm gonna be alright there, and even if i get wheel spikes, i'm not going to be going that fast, so they're gonne have less of an effect thankfully. |

then me and P were side by side and everybody knows what happened nxt. |

we're all really even drivers and on our day I would say that we all have the same optimum speed
i just think that maybe ayse has more racecraft, and i possibly lack a bit more than the rest off you in consistency so far, but it should be a really good seasons racing if today was anything to go by. |

Owen, i'd say we both did really well consistency wise. I don' think weither of us made any errors on our own (though as i closed the gap from 8-5 seconds i rather hoped you'd make it a lot easier for me by spinning)

yeah, thats why i had to feather the throttle so as not to hit you soon after getting off the line.

i didnt spin or anything but my 2 times 22's and 1 times 24 didnt help, nor did some late 21's. just never got into a proper rythm today.
i should have won todays race even after that first lap accident, because of teh other two blowing up their engine. |

also in 1 of the early laps i came very very close to spinning in T1, i thought i was a gonner. i also ran wide onto the grass on the outside of T1 3 times which didnt exactly help my cause.
the only time i was consisten was at the end trying to hunt down damon. |

Owen, we should have been scrapping for the lead, not them, and you know it Monaco should be interesting (though i need a 28 or a 27 in that Cooper and fast!)

anyway, nxt race monaco in cooper.
i like monaco actually although i find it difficult to be consistent there during long races. but i reckon i might have a chance of pushing for victory there. |

it is mate,it is. this was my first race and its amazing how much more intersting it is to race with something at stake other than pride. i was really nervous towards the end and was giving everything to catch damon.

a 26!?! That's the best part of a second you're asking for there! I'd say if you're on a 27.8 now, a low 27 would be about what i expect, but if you lap even in the 28's in the race, i'm not even showing up. 1m30 something is still gonna be my limit. |
