well rocket racing is still reeling from the disaster that was adelaide, having all 3 drivers dnf in the 1st race & then only 1 driver finish the 2nd race is not acceptable even in the confines of adelaide. all 3 drivers have been put on notice to pull their socks up so far that they give themselves a wedgie or they are gone

Im using one of my 2 changes for the season. Im completely re-aranging my team. ***Press Release*** Although Phoenix Motorsports was very pleased with the last round's results, our backers, Jack Daniels, Pioneer and Shell have stressed that they will except nothing but the title. So it is with a heavy heart that we must end our association with Russell Ingall and Cam McConville in favour of a 4 car assult. Our new drivers are, David Besnard 750,000 Steve Ellery 1,000,000 Jamie Wincup 500,000 Paul Dumbrell 750,000 We are very excited about our new look team and look forward to continuing our successful start to the season at the next round in N.Z. |

Seton and Baird play fish just as badly as they drove at adelaide, so they're OUT.

I'm sorry it messed you up, but aside from mind reading it's the best I can do. I did consider hiring a Dynamik driver myself initially, but decided things were a little volatile there for my liking, what with one-lap penalties and sponsor issues. So I went for WPS's lead driver instead! On second look, this may need some clarification: All those mentioned (DNQ, dynamik gal, HDTVKSS, lcfp2297, Riddler, Rombles1, TBMATT05, woodbine) now have Max Wilson on their driver list, not Will Davison. You can keep Max if you want, but it'll cost you a driver change to fire him, as it would with your other drivers. Made sense at the time Last edited by Antrodemus; 4 Apr 2005 at 03:32. |

So I take it if Max somehow doesn't get the drive for the rest of the season, we either use a driver change, or get zero points.... a bit like if anyone picked one of the WPS drivers I guess (at some point in the season, no doubt )

Late Entry
Name: AMR Racing Wales
Sponsors: none Livery: Green and White with Red trim Drivers :- #44 - Steven Richards #81 - Steven Johnson Manufacturer: Ford AMR Racing were once in the AusComp single seaters running the Ford V8 Engine two years ago, their best finish was fourth in their first race of the final season. With no immediate options they waited patiently until the MotoGP2 Online season begun and ran with a Yamaha bearing the same colour scheme, but unfortunately no lucky breaks, then along came the PGR2 Street Racing series where they successfully run un-modified sportscars, most notably the Ferrari 360 Spider against the rest of the UK, and also competed in the V8 Supercar Race Driver Online Series using Greg Murphy's 2002 Holden Commodore. Now things are getting serious. Steven Johnson and Steven Richards, sons of two of the legends of the Australian Touring Car scene, have signed up to the all new 100% British run team, but missed the F1 Support races and the Clipsal 500 in order to get those finishing touches done. Team Boss Ade Rees expects no immediate success but hopes to be up there fighting for it no matter whether its a three-race sprint or a 1000km haul. As for the big one, The Bob Jane 1000, the team will only enter it as a single car with the two Stevens sharing. |

Cliche Motorsport Press Release Following a successful first round at Adelaide, where the team finished a resounding 5th place on debut, Cliche Motorsport are looking forward to giving the competiton another ass whoopin' this time at Pukekowekowe, sumethin in Noow Zooland this Saturday/Sunday week. "We warned the opposition we would be strong this year, we have the budget, the drivers, the crew, those unmarked test cars we test with at Woomera every day with, and best yet a strong leader in myself Tom Walkinshaw what could possibly go wrong? All we need is the officials to stop knobbling our far superior cars at scrutineering in a weak and futile attempt at bringing our team back to the competition, Bloody Parity Red Bull crap!" Our team of champions remain unchanged and fully rested up and are starting the long swim from our shores to Noow Zulland as we speak, as part of their training regime, and to cut back on costs. The guys should be arriving in Kiwi land mid next week with the fastest guy to get there wont have to swim back. Team Bestfit Announces Lineup Change
Due to driver restrictions which see Steve Owen unable to compete in NZ, Team Bestfit has been forced to revise it's driver lineup for the rest of the season. While Craig Lowndes will remain with the team, both Simon Wills and Steve Owen have been released from their contracts to seek alternate drives. We are pleased to announce that Paul Dumbrell and Andrew Jones will be coming on board from this weekend on. Following Team Bestfit's magnificent podium finish at the Clipsal 500, both drivers were delighted to have the chance at joining this front running team. At this morning's press conference Paul Dumbrell was quoted as saying "I'm delighted to have the chance at joining this front running team" while Andrew Jones added "Me too!". Team Bestfit fully expects the new driver lineup will have what it takes to build on our outstanding start to the season. |

Pukekohe Results
V8SUPERCAR FANTASY CHAMPIONSHIP
Round 2: Pukekohe If the Lord God Almighty came down and raced today, Murph would have beaten Him too... Top Ten in NZ 1 Jim's Computer Services Racing (woodbine) 472 2 Lego Racers (DarthFalcon) 442 3= Bahodietek (bahodie) 412 3= Blackout Race Team (Suddy) 412 5 ELIVE Racing (nicko) 410 6= ABBSPORT (Archer) 406 6= B.O.R.I.N.G. Full results will be posted on the website shortly. Hard Charger Award More teams equals more places to gain, so not surprisingly the year's first Hard Charger Award, jointly earned by Silver Bullet Racing, B.O.R.I.N.G., and ABBSPORT, was a record breaker. These three all climbed an astonishing 43 places - that's almost the entire 2003 field! Lego Racers were also aiming for the stratosphere, rocketing up 39 places. Semi-Official Team Statement
-------------------------------- The team would like to congratulate Greg Murphy on an outstanding Pukekohe triumph, and Paul Morris on another steady round. The team is pleased to have improved some 16 places in the Fantasy Championship to now run in 47th, not too bad considering the team's choice to only run two drivers, where a lot of teams chose to run three or four. Full press release and race report will be available once we can talk Murph out of his complimentary Penthouse in Auckland... |

Cliche Motorsport Press Release Axe to be weilded at Cliche Motorsport after a crazy weekend in Kiwi land which saw team drivers place 14th for Jamie Whincup, 15th for Craig Lowndes and 18th for Frosty Winterbottom. This is not good enough, we have dropped out of the top 10 now, our fans, sponsers and suppliers have been venting their anger today by firebombing our team hq and throwing sheep at us when we walk down the NZ backalleys. Effective immediately Mark Winterbottom will not be driving for the team anymore and we will be drafting in Steve Ellery to drive. It was a close call for the new position but we feel that Steve has come on in leaps and bounds after his Adelaide shunt and wont be game to wreck one of our cars so soon after destroying one in Adelaide. Jamie had another solid weekend and is proving to be the value buy of the season, if he just keeps his head down and concentrates a little harder at finishing races rather than spinning into walls he will be a champion. Once again we saw Craigs car crippled by an opposition team member. How do you explain going so well in race 3. Only to have the race stopped then our car wont restart. Rest assured there is a bounty on the head of the team member from ****** Racing and he better not show his face in WA. Official Confirmation Cliche Motorsport are using their first driver change Out: Mark Winterbottom In: Steve Ellery |

Jim's Computer Services Racing Press Release
We have now managed to round-up all of our team members who were out celebrating the team's first ever round win and leading the championship. Paul Radisich was the team's star, achieving 3 6th places while Paul Weel again provided a solid drive throughout the round. The only disappointments of the round was Max Wilson dropping out of Race 3 and Jamie doing some grass mowing on the side during the race. Bring on the next round! (But no too soon as we will probably lose top spot and it feels good to be #1) |

Cash cow put out to pasture! Noiseworker Official Media Release
Biggest Loser Award
Last time I checked, Noiseworker Racing team members were still out, scouring Pukekohe with torches looking for bits of their Commodores the marshals missed. At least it took their mind off the 36 place hit the team sustained. Given Noiseworker racing's dismal start to the 2005 championship, team management have been putting the hard squeeze on both drivers and crew creating a major shake up amongst the ranks. Cameron McConville, who showed much promise with a heartening season in 2004, has shown a lack lustre performance so far for the year 2005, and team management wish to announce that effective immediately Cameron's contract with the team is terminated. Noiseworker racing are pleased to announce that Paul Radisich will be stepping up to the hot seat as the replacement driver for Cameron McConville "I hope this drive isnt the kiss of death on my career as it has been for both Rick and Cameron so far this year", Radisich joked. Rick Kelly who has suffered from mechanical gremlins throughout the year has vowed to recapture his winning touch, which has thus far seemed to be left at the pole position in race 1 of Adelaide. There is a rumour circulating amongst the pits that the extra money saved on hiring "The Rat" is up for grabs to the crew as bribery if they can bring fix the cars to work again! Devondale have also decided to no longer be a part of the team, which has enabled the team to forge ahead with a new beginning, a new look, new driver and new focus for the next round in Perth. Keep it here for the new look livery soon to be unveiled. |

RAILWAYS OF AUSTRALIA RACING PRESS RELEASE................
The team is very pleased that reliability has improved immensely, with both cars finishing strong. Russell's efforts were outstanding, and with a bit of luck Glenn could have had a very good round as well. Considering the number of teams taking home broken cars, the team is pleased that not much work has to be done preparing our cars for the next round. We look forward to a bit of good luck finding Glenn there and getting a good result from both drivers. |
