they had overheating problems
they said they were losing 20 to 30 hp on all the range of rpm
cooling system should be rethought for next race

brielga should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
At least both were classified this time.. I think the switch was a good decision, even if their top speed is not what it was...this is endurance!!!

Lucchini had some news for us at Monza, Randaccio is getting the X-Track gearbox and would like to do some rounds in LMS (Spa, Silverstone, too late for nurburgring) while the factory team is still trying to find some competitive drivers with budget

Would be great! I like the Lucchini LMP2. So far the Pankl gearbox was causing a lot of problems. So hopefully the car is more realiable with the XTrac gearbox.

Are there two Lucchini cars (1 factory car and 1 Randaccio car)? I thought Randaccio had bought the factory car.

Just to echo this seeing the car back would be great - both from a chassis variety point of view, and also because Randaccio have been great supporters of sportscar racing in Europe over the years.

The Lucchini always, to my eyes, looked like a car that should go quickly - that it didn't was disappointing, that it had catastrophic unreliability more so. I also found their approach somewhat questionable - pulling out of the 05 Le Mans so late always struck me as an insance choice. Nonetheless I was sad not to see it run at Donington last year, if we get a chance to see it this year I'll be genuinely pleased.

As far as I know there's just the one chassis, but nothing other than the obvious resource issues stopping the factory building another one up.
