Yup, no parc ferme restrictions. Expect clean rebuilt cars on the grid for the restart.

Be interesting to see how they deal with the gaps at the restart and cars that pitted as the red flag came out. #72 and #911 had just entered the pits. Last time I saw timing it showed 1st (Mies) with a lap lead over 2nd (Harper).

Looking at the webcam on top of the pit building it's a complete white out.

Yep, going back on the pitlane stream it was clear for maybe 45 minutes or so and then it rolled back in, pretty bad now at 4am local.

Fog still present at 7am local time, there will be hourly checks for visibility from now on.

Alesia Kreutzpointer has been banned from this year's race; she's been assigned fault for the incident which took out #98 Rowe BMW & #507 Giti BMW.

Such a shame, but there is precedent of course. Race up front was amazing, and in all honesty watching them fight so close in the dark and early mist is about as good as it gets anywhere!

We're heading into calling the race territory unfortunately. Next update at 11:30am local time, but it does not look any better.

Surely they'd run a 2 or 3 hours 'race' so plenty of time for a restart yet.

They will if they can race, of course. But the fog is taking such a long time to lift, it may not be ready until well into the afternoon.
