Lot of work. The owner should go back to the tyre shop because its not so often you can have that many masses to balance a wheel! Obviously, the Siverado is pristine and the trailer too.

When you think that BMC and Citroën tried to sell cars to replace the GP universal car. On one hand you had the Moke, on the other you had the Mehari. Madness, nothing like a Jeep. Nowadays its easy to stick at least two Mokes in any Humvee's arse at breakfast time!

Hired a Moke, which I think was the only type of vehicle available, whilst on holiday in the Seychelles some years ago. Great fun, but you do get wet if it rains as there were no side screens with the top. Luckily it only rained once on our trip and it soon dried out.
On the subject of the Seychelles, reading about the islands recently, it would appear that life there has changed considerably. When we went there, there were strict regulations on the visitor numbers, so there were far fewer hotels on offer. Also, nightlife was almost non-existent; after nine at night, virtually everything closed down apart from one bar in our hotel and one other at a Hilton just along the beach from ours. We nearly got stuck miles away in Victoria, the capital which was a 20 minute drive away, because our taxi never turned up to drive us back. We had to bribe another one we chanced upon to take us back otherwise it would have been a long, dark walk. |
