"aesthetically pleasing" lies in the eye of the beholder, cant write a rulebook with that kind of arbitrary interpretation.

You should suggest this to the S2000 rule committee

Rubio should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
"Citroën’s C-Elysée WTCC will begin the 2016 season with a maximum 80 kilograms of additional weight rather than the previous 60"

http://www.fiawtcc.com/sixteen-big-w...ions-for-2016/

So, they repeat 2012, when only Chevrolets had compensation weight at the first 2 rounds

wonder why they don't make it permanent like they did with the A4 in the Supertouring era after Audi won everything in 1996.

Sorry if this has already been discussed at length and I've missed it, but what are the indicators as to who the new manufacturer in 2017 is please?

the Audi A4 Quattro was NOT the dominant monster it was portrayed to be

it had weakness like low top speed , also extra weight even without weight penalties

in german STW 1995 at some tracks like Salzburgring they struggled even to get inside Top 10 and they were beaten fair and square by BMW

the previous model Audi 80 Competition was also AWD but didn't perform that great , it's only success was Frank Biela winning the french series in 1993

Valente & Tarquini possibly being team mates? Could be interesting.

Very happy with the news. Especially happy for Norbi. Great to see drivers stepping from indies to factory teams (why should you take someone from another championship when you have fast drivers in independent teams). Too bad that it's only the 2nd time in WTCC history after Hernandez in BMW 2009. Hopefully Valente will become the 3rd one.

Seems that Zengo is keeping the Civic, so they might stay in 2016?

You missed Lada's announcement? Valente will join Tarquini and Catsburg there. Also Farfus and Tavano stepped up from indie teams if I'm not mistaken.

I think Farfus was in factory Alfa Romeo team before switching to BMW for 2007 season. Tavano was driver for DB Motorsport before switching for Alfa Romeo for 2006.

I don't think there was an official announcement yet, just rumors so far

If I understood the Google translated farewell message to Norbi on Zengo's homepage correctly they will keep the car and give another hungarian talent a chance. Should be interesting who will get the seat.

Very close to happen, but no official announcement as yet. According to Nezvankin from Lada it should happen before the end of January.

Well, Tavano raced only 1-2 races in 2005 (we can count Pechito as well in this case). As for Farfus it is a question whether you regard Alfa Romeo as a works team or not in 2006-2007. Officially they competed in the manufacturers championship.

My bad, I thought I remembered Farfus driving one of those hideous Oregon indie Alfa's before joining the factory squad. I can't find anything on him driving there though, I guess I've mistaken him for Rangoni:

Farfus drove in Euroseries 3000 before ETCC

I think Zengőwill take one of the young guns which drove in TCR last year.
