A real shame for Kurt. I really hope NASCAR is looking at the impact data very carefully, because the hit wasn't that bad. It seems the new car is perhaps a bit too rigid, transferring too much energy back to the driver.

Cody Ware could have so nearly won this race, he has one of the least damaged cars out there.

Saw that ending coming a mile away. It's a shame Cindric didn't tag the back of the #3 when he just about got wrecked out of the way (which is how Dillon likes to win races at Daytona).

All that waiting for such a crap ending.

Credit to Nascar for taking the time to wait for the weather to break and to restart the race. I didnt expect that. It might not have been the greatest spectacle for the last 20 laps and i didnt get the result i wanted but it was still better to let it play out naturally imo than end it because of the "rain wreck" that took out half the field.

It just irks me that all of RCR, all the way up to the top, knew and expected Dillon to remove whatever driver was in front of him by force. Remember, even Richard Childress told Dillon to "wait until the white flag lap to make your move", meaning "make sure the white flag is out so the race ends as soon as you wreck whomever is in front of you". Now it obviously didn't play out exactly like that, but close enough.

I think Dillon just replaced Logano as my most disliked driver and I also lost a bit of respect for Childress.

Well he did learn that from some guy in that car in the 80s and 90s. Spring race Earnhardt dumped T Labonte on final lap T4 of Bristol and pushed him across the line for the win. Next race, dumped him T2 so Labonte was out of the way earlier

Marcus King to start off the race broadcast is freaking awesome. Such a talent and native South Carolinian. Too bad Bojangles is out and Cook Out is in bc Cook Out is trash
