Eliottttttttttt has been saving fuel to make the two stopper work. And now using for the lead, but might be nice to follow for a bit to help with fuel.
After the stops not sure where Raikkonentt is. |

Some lame excuse about the tyre barrier being moved. Nanny state. Back in the day children used to play out until their mothers called them in for dinner or the street lights came on. They didn’t worry about tire barriers then.

Great restart from Elliott (hurrah) and Laganott (boo).
Another yellow. For what? A car and some track workers trying to extract them. Actually Laganott might stick |

Choosing the outside was a bit risky. Worked the first time, but…

Bwoah!
Chastained. This new word needs to go in the Oxford English Dictionary. One thing's for certain: Chastain has made more enemies than Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler combined. I feel it's going to end with the SOB embedded in a concrete wall. |

Truex provisionally back in the playoffs heading to Daytona after Kurt Busch withdraws at least from Darlington and asked NASCAR to pull his playoff waiver as a result.

A real shame for Kurt. I really hope NASCAR is looking at the impact data very carefully, because the hit wasn't that bad. It seems the new car is perhaps a bit too rigid, transferring too much energy back to the driver.

Cody Ware could have so nearly won this race, he has one of the least damaged cars out there.

Saw that ending coming a mile away. It's a shame Cindric didn't tag the back of the #3 when he just about got wrecked out of the way (which is how Dillon likes to win races at Daytona).
All that waiting for such a crap ending. |

Credit to Nascar for taking the time to wait for the weather to break and to restart the race. I didnt expect that. It might not have been the greatest spectacle for the last 20 laps and i didnt get the result i wanted but it was still better to let it play out naturally imo than end it because of the "rain wreck" that took out half the field.

It just irks me that all of RCR, all the way up to the top, knew and expected Dillon to remove whatever driver was in front of him by force. Remember, even Richard Childress told Dillon to "wait until the white flag lap to make your move", meaning "make sure the white flag is out so the race ends as soon as you wreck whomever is in front of you". Now it obviously didn't play out exactly like that, but close enough. I think Dillon just replaced Logano as my most disliked driver and I also lost a bit of respect for Childress. |

Didn't get home in time for the IndyCar race but I'm gonna catch some of the Southern 500.
Marcus King to start off the race broadcast is freaking awesome. Such a talent and native South Carolinian. Too bad Bojangles is out and Cook Out is in bc Cook Out is trash |

Past my bedtime so will watch it on catchup. All I know is KFB blew up and the Jones boy got the King back where he belongs.
Those idiots at Gibbs shouldn't have dumped Jones. Or Suarez for that matter. Both boys I reckon are good. |

Wilkesboro!
Thrilled on many levels. However NASCAR has an amazing ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... |
