Exciting times return at Le Mans, i always get a buzz in race week but the last few years have always been tempered by the realistic lack of competition for the outright win without the intervention of mechanical delays. The good times are back baby! Roll on June..........

But one has to remember, it's a 120° V-6 engine that is based on the same architecture as the 296 GT and the 1.6L Formula 1. The power train also uses their F1-based hybrid unit, same as what Acura(Honda) has and what Alpine will be using for their LMDh entry.

Then again, a better question... Was it a proper shakedown, or a demo test? And with whom; AF Corsa or Risi Competition...
Someone knows... |

Yeah, that's straight factory with AF Corse running the teat since they're running the cars. Now if Ferrari invited observers that's another matter and I would not at all be surprised, especially given the Ferrari desire to have their badge on the car. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the most chassis of anyone building them. The sales values alone could fund the team with collectors, especially for LM or Sebring cars

Back at Sebring again. Looks like a damp track but not sure if they ran in the wet

With only 12 days to go to the first race for the Ferrari i am assuming that the car is currently going through the homologation process as the Le Mans entries should that had not yet been done. Presume they have to have completed it before Sebring?

Very interesting... While the #51 was in the paddock, there were representatives from Dallara working on the car Sunday. Looks like they had a lot of input to the design and manufacture of that chassis, or they just happen to "stop by" while working with Cadillac on theirs.
