With this, I think that the 2010 distance record will stand at this rate, even with good weather. It could've been matched or beaten every year afterwards if not for lengthy full course yellows and lengthy slow zones.

I got goosebumps after Kobayashi crossed the line on THAT lap. Great!
He had almost no traffic, just like Jani in '15.
Today, the graphic said Porsche had indeed hard tires on in the beginning of Q2.
Wurz on twitter: conditions on the track are probably best ever: Kobayashi had also tailwind on Hunadieres.
But the P2 are ...... it with Yellows.

I know we've seen a few LMP2 incidents but this is better than normal. Quite a few years we've had 5 or 6 reds through the sessions.

Agree! Not bad so far. Quite a few frustrating years with lengthy red sessions and lots of lost tracktime.

Last year's wet start safety car period was way too lengthy as well with cars switching to inters behind safety car. But so far it's good this year
