Audi is not the only team that does this. Pescarolo will replace the old Courage based 01 by the AMR-One based 03 and Rebellion will also get an updated car in Spa.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but TV availability in the US isn't what's going to make or break the WEC.

The US is hardly the biggest market for the series or sports car racing in general.

I dunno, I think it would be awesome to have just the ELMS and ALMS (maybe an Asian series too if viable) and have Le Mans as the grand finale/ showdown between all the ALMS/ELMS
