Testing is Wednesday and Thursday at Barcelona.

I usually find www.italiaracing.net good for quick updates on testing times - they may well be quicker than the official site - http://www.renault-sport.com/en/world_series/formulaV6/

Hmm interesting, only 1.2 seconds off last years GP2 pole time. Obviously this year the GP2 cars will be signifcantly faster again due to the changes on the cars that have been made, what I would like to know though is have the WSR cars been updated at all since 2005?

Good times from Soucek, i appreciate that he has local knowledge but still fast. Graves is where most people thought he would be.

The updates from 2006 are:

Aerodynamics (skirts etc) have been removed to give the car approx. 400 pounds (200 kg) less downforce with the same drag. Effectivly slowing them down just under a second around a track like Barcelona (in theory).

Regarding the skirts. Apparently a lot of the top times during the test was set with the skirts still on.

Just read on the WSR 3.5 website that Salignon had a lot of technical trouble during the test, anyone know what it was?

Another good place to get WSR times is the Prema Powerteam's homepage at www.premapowerteam.com. It's always official and always posted before the official Renault site gets around to it.

It doesn't seem to work for me either now...
Hope it won't last long. I also saw they had some pictures of their cars from last test or something like that and I wanted to check if they had more but I can't get in either.

But in the meantime here are some from Renault Sport from Barcelona:
