There was some footage on periscope as well (www.periscope.tv/indycar). Almost 188mph average speed, very brisk pace for a 1 mile oval.

If anyone's interested, IndyCar Facebook page has a Phoenix turn 2 live camera (also showing part of pit lane) right now.
T&S on racecontrol.indycar.com as usual. Helio's going fastest, 191 MPH more or less. Update: yellow flag with less than 30 min. left, Hawksworth apparently into the wall, Facebook camera feed now offline. In case anyone's still wondering: James Jakes to Manor's WEC effort this year. I suppose that's not mutually exclusive of an IndyCar seat, but I'd guess we won't be seeing him this year.

Thinking about it, Gold can be pretty garish. Though a light/white Gold I think would have worked. Maybe some one on rFactor could do a tasteful Gold livery?
