I guess lots of guys do the ERX plus selected events. ERX could see a major growth too.

Looking at Liam on facebook looks like there is intent for WorldRX in 2015 but no Monster Energy WorldRX team announced in the IMG email and release yesterday. Petter in black with monster all over him alongside Doran would be a travesty

Well look on the bright side. If they are both team mates then perhaps Liam will be less inclined to punt him off.

I hope so, Petter has not been a big fan of Doran before.

I remember that you asked a hypothetical question, and it seems like the answer i yes. Petter and Doran will take of their car separately, as it seems right now.

Yeah, it was a potential PSRX/LDM cooperation that caused me to ask and, as you say, that seems to be exactly what we are going to see.

I must admit one of the reasons why I originally thought of Liam with PSRX is he is one of the few drivers I thought might get on with the Solberg setup DS3, guess we'll never know the answer to that if he is sticking with his own car.

In many respects though the two individuals doing their own thing probably works out for the best; Petter didn't seem that bothered about either the team Championship or his second car last year. Plus he has never seemed particularly enamoured with Liam, so this way he has zero responsibility for his performance.

The question that is now foremost in my mind is I wonder how much interaction - if any - there will be between Liam and Petter?

I'm also really interested (in a Supercar nerd kind of way) to see if the two "teammates" will have matched cars, or if they will both continue to build their DS3's in their own way. There were some significant differences between the LDM and PSRX DS3's last year (cosmetically and mechanically), will they borrow ideas/tech from each other this year?

I would doubt they are very keen on playing the team-mate game.

All this is the fact that they will probably have the same main sponsor.

IMG seem to be obsessed with the team part of rallycross, and while they seem to care about it, the fans really don't. Typical of IMG really. You can see this from the latest PR grunge, theya re trying to make it a team sport.

I would imagine both cars will simply share Monster sponsorship, I seriously doubt Petter would be interested in sharing any technology with Doran as their cars were about as different in so many ways, the Solberg car was reliable, fast and consistent. None of the qualities of Dorans.

Simply a way of getting Monster involved with the champion and keeping their existing "athlete" happy.

Any guesses about how the Lydden time schedule will look with WRX SuperCars primarily? Thankfully some EuroRX guys are now doing WorldRX, so for SuperCars it's a bit more hopeful than 2 months ago, but will it be enough to fill 2 days at Lydden?

I think you get around 35 Supercars, 8 Touringcars and 15 lites. This with support of retro and the late start on sunday.... it will be ok i think. Better than 2013. A little less than 2014.

I'm not sure there will be any where near 35 supercars - I can't see where they're going to come from? I'm a bit worried that the timetable will be full of holes.

So few more things fall into place....

Doran and Solberg together in SDRX team

Seems like Timmy Hansen and Davy Jeannay will be in Peugeot 208's, Hansen Motorsport

And Timur with Pauwels in a brand new Focus in WRX

Looks like that is Timmy Hansen and Davy Jeanney confirmed then. Pity to see Timur gone, but I'm so glad to see Jeanney in a decent seat for 2015.

Timur to Pauewls? No offence to Koen but wouldn't that be a massive step down or do they some substantial backing from somwhere?

My guess was OMSE. He did a good job when he stood in for Marcus in the GRC and has the Jussi P connection.

WRX neeeds stronger feeder classes. As in "here's this new kid who won several Lites races! Now he's joining the Supercars class to face the top drivers."
