It would be nice if we could see the incident in question...
Edit - Now they've shown it. Sky Tempesta AMG nerfed G59 McLaren into the barrier just before Blanchimont. That's going to be a somewhat justified lengthy caution for barrier repairs. |

Once again we have/had a safety car circulating without any clue which car is the leader. EDIT: After a few minutes, the SC has found the leader |

Please tell me I didn't just see a car (the Sky Tempesta AMG, no less) drive past the trackside crew - who were on track repairing the barrier - at close to racing speed.
Please. I need to convince myself that race control have a semblance of order over the race. |

You saw that correctly. But that's what it is asked to do. They're under SC procedure, which means: speed up and catch up to the pack. To be fair, #93 was not the only one. All/most cars that needed to catch up did that |

Thanks for the info. I fear that's going to end in tragedy at some point.
Just ... tell drivers to slow down around the accident zone. |

The 'highlights' package takes 10:57 minutes.
Did anyone notice that it does not include any wheel-to-wheel action, no real racing, but just accidents and stupid things? |

The #6 just needs some luck to get its lap back.
Better luck with when/where the SC comes. I really want that car to win. That would annoy SRO no end... |

No action for various accidents, a 5-second penalty during the next pitstop for speeding in the pitlane, BUT a drive-through for 'driver stint too long'
You see what the priorities are. |

And it's taken out one of the leading cars. Thankfully only time was lost.
Edit - Barring a problem, it looks like #47 KCMG Porsche has neatly timed itself for three more full stops. Last edited by J Jay; 31 Jul 2022 at 10:34. |

Commentator just said it's a sprint between pit stops. Shouldn't that be a sprint between full course yellows ?
