Any further word on who will be in the K PAX McLarens? I see Thorne was rumored early this year....
Pretty stiller entry in all classes! Nice to see Lou out there, even though its not in a 'vette with Flames |

Cool! This is an interesting development!
I thought Reiter was aiming to bring the Camaro GT3 to the series, perhaps they will in addition to the KTM? http://www.world-challenge.com/news/...e-in-2015.html |

Find it quite interesting that the Nissan GT-R GT3 in their commercial has WC stickers on it.
See the GT-R Nismo |

Scratch one LMPC and one more reason against split races.

Good move I think. RSR is more of a natural fit for GT racing I think. |

PWC needs more teams that break down on the pace lap. Gentilozzi probably owes a driver money so its easier to bail out.

Originally Gentilozzi had big talk about doing a partial WEC/ELMS program in P2, now he has requested entry forms for PWC, we've heard more "looking into such and such series" in the past but realistically all we saw big bold Paul's team doing was fielding rent-a-drive rides in PC. More air than substance.
So I believe it when I see it. Trans-Am seems a more logical fit for RSR anyway. |

Here's a look at back to back GTS defending champs, Blackdog Speed Shop, and their 2015 Camaro Z/28.R. http://nasportscar.com/new-car-new-d...ares-for-2015/

More recently, in PC, they have been among the top teams, realistically only outshone by CORE. And CORE certainly hasn't done too badly for themselves in GT. I think they'll do pretty well, let's wait and see. |

I don't see what's hard to understand. Gentilozzi probably thought prospects looked better for getting customers for WEC than spending all year scrounging up people to destroy PC cars.
Wouldn't be the first or last to find the money is in GT3s instead. |

Wow, Estre is going to blow away some of the regulars there; if the car is up to it, he's got to be an early season favourite.

With the success the team has had in LMPC, it's really cool to see them stepping up to PWC. P.S. To Mr. Gentilozzi: If the team chooses the Aston, please paint it British racing green. |

Davison & Heitkotter for 2-car Nissan effort with Always Evolving and AIM!
http://www.racer.com/pwc/item/113591...son-heitkotter Edit: more info from Sportscar 365 http://sportscar365.com/world-challe...r-pwc-program/ Apparently numbers will be #05 and #33. Can we hope for a classic Bob Sharp Racing style livery? And from Daily Sportscar: http://www.dailysportscar.com/2015/0...ng-racing.html Quote:

Great to have that programme confirmed but it does point out that the US is the one area that hasn't excelled in GT Academy. Not sure what Nick McMillan is doing this year, but I was expecting this team to be 2 GTA guys and 1 established Pro (from the original 3 car rumour), and not for that winner to be one from 4 years ago, bearing in mind that Reip, Shulzhitskiy and Strauss are all much newer and have progressed further in that time.
I suppose my 'criticism' (it's not meant as such) is proof of how successful the concept had been everywhere else, or particularly in Europe. |

Judging by he updates posted on GTPlanet, McMillen's season is going to be piecemeal, with select races being picked alongside his continuing development. To quote from his latest (CTSCC Daytona race) post:

Are there any GT3 manufacturers left who are not racing in PWC this year? Perhaps Nissan's participation in a US series will raise people's awareness of the GT Academy. It's a really cool concept. |
