Yeah, I thought I recalled them raising a stink about the "cartel" of approved vendors and them being put out of business by not allowing them in. Especially given how at the time they couldn't do worse than Riley did with the first attempt

But they are members of the LMP3 cartel and how has that worked out for them?

Hindy suggested in commentary for the Mid Ohio IMSA race that Porsche may be considering running the old RS Spyder V8 in their LMDh.

It'll be really stupid if Bentley decides to forego its GT3 V8 and goes with an Audi DTM engine. But I fear they'll go the path of minimum change. A livery and some round headlights.

some time ago read about audi considered their DTM L4 to endurance use, but the engine had huge vibrations issues.

After the last episode of TWISC, is this where we are?
LMH Toyota Glickenhaus Peugeot Ferrari LMDh Multimatic - Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley Oreca - Acura, BMW, McLaren, Alpine? Dallara - GM Ligier - Alpine? And concern raised about the ability, or even willingness, of the chassis constructors to service LMP2. We could be in a situation where other constructors (Duqueine?) are prevented from building an LMP2 by others who have no intention of doing so. |

So far it looks VAG has an exclusive deal with Multimatic. Is there an technical advantage for them compared to other manufacturers? I mean VAG can put all their design and development know-how into the new Multimatic chassis. Multimatic on their turn can take advantage from it for the new LMP2 car.

Graham seemed to think we might not see the new LMP2s until 2024 or maybe even 2025.

Ligier with Alpine, I will be very surprise if this happen as Oreca has been very close to Signatech/Alpine for a while now. They have rebadged a couple of Oreca cars and going to Ligier after that will not be very fair. On the top of that, Ligier is involved with Peugeot in their LMH program for a CFD point of view. https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...for-wec-entry/ Having heard MP, it sounds like that this is the secret that is known by a lot of personns |
