You have to wonder why. Maybe it's because they won't reveal any of the V8 Supercars dirty laundry.

If your plumbing is dirty, you will always have dirty laundry.

It,s not in our current planning as we seem to be getting better coverage in both incumbent mags.

Who's opinion is that. Well not in Auto Fiction anyway.
Did you read the letter in today's AA about F3? |

Well, after reading AA for as long as I remember, today is the first day I have EVER missed a copy. I have bought the last couple of MNews and have been trying to stop buying AA for a while.
I've been a bit like someone who is trying to quit smoking all day, and I came close to buying it but I convinced my self not to. I am quite proud, there are no patches to help you quit buying AAs you know.............! |

Hey GTR, was Foges referring to you when he mentioned the anti-Babe brigade and sexing up the story on CART wannabe Danica Patrick. I'm not entirely convinced that Danica has what it takes on pure merit, but it will be interesting to see whether Foges will have to eat his words in a couple of years.
This is the first time I have brought AA for ages (OK I was "given" a couple) and I agree its become rather lightweight (even a couple of insiders concede that) but the layout and production values are way above MSN. Foges's de Matta story was OK and there was decent coverage on some obscure events like the Lady Wigram Trophy and the Mount Buller Sprint plus the Daytona 24 Hour race. However the coverage on Ferrari and Renault's new F1 cars was very meagre indeed. No meaty details at all and looks like the junior writer has paraphrased the press release. |

I am not anti-babe by any means, but when it is the highlight of the publication because on balance, the content and relevance of whatever else is left in the publication is not at a credible standard, where does it leave you?
Rupert Murdoch and his team of merry men pioneered Page 3 girls in the UK, is this now the accepted standard for motorsport journalism in this country? I am surprised with the Danica Patrick thing they didnt try and link Ms Patrick with Mr Rahal, as they have done in some other less credible publications and webnews locations in the US. |

GTR, I agree that Foges concocted the Danica Patrick story out of thin air and it certainly didn't need to be on page 3. Having said that, they used a pretty tame photo from that FHM (yes, I've seen them ) shoot.

So next week is Sarah Fisher's turn, having been a TAG-HEUER sponsored driver, and the IRL announcing a timing deal with them in the last few days?
Then Susie Stoddart, Milka Duno, Melinda Price, Leanne Ferrier, Tamara Vidali, Giovanna Amati, Lauren Gray... the list of potential cheesecake is endless.... |

I just went thru the 8 pages of thread over there... And I thought the girls chasing Todd Kelly were bad...
A nice enough lady I am sure, but from all the noise in those threads, the bank balance is larger than the talent pool by several multiples. |

Pete 55 is right as is Bronte Rundle in the mentioned letter. F3 is the jewel in the crown of the Procar show, I don't think even Ross Palmer knows that, but coverage in AA is abysmal. However this is not just a problem for F3 but for all Aussie open wheeler categories. AA has an obligation to give proper coverage to all aspects of the sport no matter what the preferences of the editorial staff. They could do this without compromising their V8 coverage which is what sells mags of course.I say get rid of the motorbike coverage but a few letters to the editor might help and perhaps our real up and coming stars can get some decent exposure.
