Another day
After a short hiatus for a couple years I think I am now up to date on all currently/previously available 1:18 winners having taken delivery of the 2022 winner from Spark today. Ferrari 499 winner from 2023 is currently on order. Went with the middle of the road option from Look Smart. Unusual to have three different manufacturers offering the same car!

My lord. Has anyone ever had a model fixed to the base in such a shoddy way? Did they hammer these in??

So I managed to get everything on display now... though, as the photo above shows, getting the 1976 car of its base was not the simplest!
Pretty happy with how it's looking. Just waiting for the 2023 winning Ferrari to arrive now. |

2023 winner by Bbugaro. It's no Spark, but it's also only £70 delivered from AliExpress. At that price it's pretty good!

There's at least three companies offering this model. Really nice to be able to choose from three different levels of quality/price.

New arrival from Looksmart. 2023 winner. Nice to have a little colour amongst the red, white, black and silver of the last 20 years! Pretty happy with this one although it does come at a premium above the BBurago. I'd love to see them side by side.

Just been comparing your photo. I've not studied the accuracy of decals, etc. to any depth (I can see two or three relatively minor differences) but the quality of the merchandise looks pretty good for the price. I will be tempted to go for the BBurago next time presuming they do the 2024 winner. When I started collecting these things 20 years ago the Spark models were +/- £50 and the crazy prices that these things fetch these days does take a fair degree of the pleasure of acquiring them away. It would be lovely to pick up next years purchase for £70!
