No, there were a few four door A9Xs. Brock ran in one in at least one race for HDT at the start of 1978 and Bob Morris ran a very attractive 4 door for most of 1977 until the hatch was built. Capt Janson had one too I think.
A couple of L34s were converted to A9x specs as well, the Citizen Watches car of Gary Cooke (ex Team Brock) comes to mind. |

There were a few A9X four-doors. The two-doors were called SS, the four-doors, SLR. A9X if memory serves, refered to a mechanical options package which could then be applied to SS or SLRs. Charlie O'Brien's A9X was a four-door. Hodgson, HDT, Ralph Radburn, Alan Browne, Joe Moore, Gary Cooke and Jack Brabham all had four-door A9Xs.

I'm pretty sure that there were actually more A9X sedans built (road cars) than hatch backs.

john is now running Scubys over here.
I think he has a dealership ( I could be wrong ) He sadly never raced the porsche over here. I did get to see it once dressed up in Rohan Skea colors. ( Now that is a story worth its own thread! ) |

How many Ron Hodgson A9X's were there? Just the two hatches? (plus the 4-door from '77?)

The Pollard Porsche was used as one of the cars to push the Thundersports concept wasn't it? As the car was not eligible for Sports Sedans |

Can anyone shed some light on the location of the ex FPR chassis? FPR5 (502) - become Britek Irwin Racing Car 26 for Marshal 2008. Also does anyone know who owns the 888 chassis 0011 used last year as Car 333 for PCR? I know Fiore bought the 888 chassis 0017 and there was talk of DJR buying the equipment?
Please help if you can. |

888 chassis #0011 still belongs to Mr Matthias, and is available for sale.
It was whispered around the place that perhaps if Mr Fiore could unload the PMM VE, that he may secure this BF so the 3 brothers can run FFF Falcons, but nothing seems to have come of that. |

Thanks GTR for the quick reply.
Any word on FPR5 (502) that has seemed to have disappeared into thin air. |
