The Bluebird is the George Fury lap record holder and it's in wonderful condition. You'd have to do the POA bit with Terry for all the accurate details on the car.

I'm not sure about the Lap record car....Terry would be able to confirm that but from the looks of the pic it is!
and yes that car is Terry's car......My guess would be around the 200K mark know how mint it is....no spares from memory(TBC). If you wanted to see it I am pretty sure it's in the restaurant up on the Central Coast atm!. Last edited by jetwreck; 20 May 2010 at 01:24. Reason: update |

There were three Bluebird's built, correct?
One was held onto by the team, and was used as a test mule for the DR30 Skyline engine. Presumebly this is the car that Gibson held onto and was eventually sold to Ashwood. Gary Scott used one in Sports Sedans in 1985 as chavez has already mentioned. Where did it go after that? And what of the third one? There was a Bluebird Turbo, presented in the same factory Group C colours, competing in the Street Car support race at the 1987 ATCC round at Wanneroo... could this have been one of the cars?? |

This is the first car known as Zacspeed 1, so it's the car that practiced at Bathurst in 84 in it's white livery, it is presented in Bathurst 85 livery (should be car 18 I think) Bowdens own the Zacspeed 2 car which was car 17 at Bathurst 85.
The car has had a total rebuild and looks absolutely superb, a credit to its owner. |

What colour was the car in in that pic? I presume that this is also the 'JPS' DJR Mustang that Mr Crichton shared in 1985 in the same series? |
