Do you have some record or Kronos going back to the 09 chassis? I could imagine Signature Plus needing a second chassis following a Le Mans crash if they wrote it off, but they had the new '10 chassis, why would Kronos have gone back to the wrecked '09 car?

Well.. according to RSC, B0960-HU03S was the chassis that they used up to Le Mans 2010, and we know how their race ended (one of the drivers stuffed it into the wall at the first chicane, crawled back to the pits, retired with accident damage). And since you're saying in the list that B0960-HU03S is the chassis that Kronos/MarcVDS used for this year's race, then... yeah, someone must have bothered to pay for repairing that car.
It showed up at the Le Mans test in the old Signature Plus colours as well... minus all the sponsorship logos. |

Well... we'll see when RSC gets the pages updated with the correct chassis numbers for this year then.

So this may be how it actually looks:
- B08/60-HU02 (DBR1/2-4) - Originally the Charouz entered Lola with the Aston V12. Run at the Nurburgring and Silverstone in 2008. Then became one of the factory Lola Astons. Was run in the 2009 LMS and 24 Hours of Le Mans. - B09/60-HU01 (DBR1/2-2) - Destroyed in testing. Car rebuilt as B09/60-HU01S - B09/60-HU01S (DBR1/2-2) - Built from the wreckage of B09/60-HU01. Run in the Le Mans Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2009 and 2010. Currently being run by AMR Team Cytosport - B09/60-HU02 (DBR1/2-1) - Destroyed in testing. Car rebuilt as B09/60-HU02S - B09/60-HU02S (DBR1/2-1) - Built from the wreckage of B09/60-HU02. Run by the factory as car #007 in the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans for 2009 and 2010. This is the car that the factory team will run at races later this year - B09/60-HU03S (DBR1/2-3) - Built for Signature Plus, destroyed at Le Mans 2010. Car rebuilt as B10/60-HU01S - B10/60-HU01S (DBR1/2-3) - Built from the wreckage of B09/60-HU03S. Run by Signature Plus at LMS events after Le Mans and then at Le Mans in 2011 by Kronos Racing. I've also been intrigued as to why the Signature Plus car was built as B09/60-HU03S in the first place. As far as I know, it was built as a new chassis for Signature Plus and Drayson's Lola was B09/60-HU03. |

sorry to throw another spanner in the works, but I think that Prodrive have a "show car" in there heritage centre which apparently has been made up of parts that have raced, the tub might be the one that Thomas Enge crashed at Paul Ricard when they first ran in Gulf colours (I am more than happy to be corrected) and that they is a another car at Aston martin HQ in Gaydon ( http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...type=1&theater ) we know that AMR/Prodrive have 1 left as mention earlier in this thread by acox93, Cytosport have got 1, Kronos have got 1, so Guess the question is where are the other 2???

As far as I know there are only three actual Lola Astons these days after all the crashes and rebuilds, One running in ALMS, the one run by Kronos at LM, and one still in Gulf colours but in a private collection, I'm guessing it's the last one that AMR will run for the remainder of the season. |

One of the issues regarding the AMR-One seems to be Astons need to put a race history on the chassis.
If that isn't done AMR's business model for future projects would be questioned. You would think this gives them even more reason to make the AMR-One work. |

I might have missed it, but there was the recent announcement of the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3. There are some renderings on Facebook, done by Endurance Crea, the Monster version in particular looks good.

Rear wing mounts look terrible, maybe better function? Though the first picture of those 3 looks like the wing is different and not as tall. Hopefully it goes well and can be used for GTE as well.
