I would like to see just what the fuel table looks like for the top 10 cars for the next 20 minutes.

Kobayahsi was pushing. Tyres gone? Good try, but it wasn't there.

Not so fast...the factory team didn't win.....
Really good race, it had everything except weather. Alpine in 5th, and a 4th by Caddy are results both teams will be happy with. Manthy is so good this year but HoR managed to start and stay in front. That is pretty rare these days. |

Brilliant to see a plucky independent privateer work through and win on merit. AF Corse must be really pleased.
Delighted I stayed up to watch this. |

That last pit by the #20 BMW, was that a penalty pit or a regular pit?

It could have been a great race, with an unexpected win for Toyota after the qualy.

This is stupidly close. Yet all the endurance stuff is still there. Quote:
I do think we need to re-adjust, or at least remember this is endurance racing. It is about the race. When we look we can see the signs were there. I am reminded of the #2 Jaguar that started 17th at Le Mans in 1990. Finished second. The winner #3 started 9th. |

Difficult to tell, but following on the timing, it looked like a relatively straight forward race in GT?

I wonder why Shahin wasn't on the GT podium.

Alpine has to be extremely encouraged after today.
Fastest laps of the race: #7 Toyota : 1:52.564 #35 Alpine: 1:52.584 #36 Alpine: 1:52.633 #50 Ferrari: 1:52.935 #2 Cadillac: 1:53.103 #83 Ferrari: 1:53.145 Now they have to turn that pace into consistency over the stint and minimize the mistakes. The 35 could have finished 4th or better without the penalty for the contact in the opening laps. |

How did it compare to the fastest and last LMP1 race? It finished 9 laps less (183 v 192).

Well penalties seem to always mar the results recently but ultimately it was an enjoyable race. Crowd I think was larger than expected and seemed knowledgeable and appreciative throughout.
