17 drivers have set a time so far, but not counting Buhl there is still one missing - who?

It's Tora Takagi - he hasn't set a time yet.

Carpenter seems to have no answer for Phoenix.
Only 1.3 seconds to 180MPH. Can they do it? |

Looks like Ganassi have made their homework.
Then again, could be that Phoenix is - I assume - more of a handling track than Homestead as well. |

Takagi has finally come out on track.
Also, yellow for track inspection. |

Cars are coming back on track for 3PM session.
Will they break 180? |

Prior to that MAJOR overhaul, however, Homestead placed a premium on handling with it's former 6-degree banking... The New Homestead I believe is graduated banks from 17-19 degrees as you get higher up on the banking... |

Yeah Tim, Homstead should really be a good race this year, because of that new banking. It provides a new groove for more lines and better speed.

Another good and safe session!
Dixon showed he is the man on the short tracks. Herta, again surprisingly fast! Glad to see Ray have a good first outing. My man Sharp, solidly in the middle again! All 4 AGR drivers in top 6! Hornish is solid 3rd. Red Bull drivers Barron and Carpenter were well down. I missed Down Force, rustyfan, B/Mark, and climb. It wasn't the same without you guys. Oh well, next comes the race! |

Here i am, my friend!
Time zone is not too favourable to us in Italy. As I expected, the new rules-borderline undefloor on Gforce proved effective on the short-ovals, and apart from Dixon's class, also minor drivers got some improvement. Only Scheckter to keep Chevy flag up. For the rest, I agree with your syntesis, GP Racer. |

It's 18 degrees at the bottom, 19 in the middle and 20 up high. Made absolute wonders for the NASCAR race and I expect it to do the same for the IndyCar race. |

Looks likes it was another productive session I was at a party so I missed it...
The Cheever cars are well off it...I hope it's just this circut and not short ovals in general, that wuold really hurt them in the championship. |

Dllara has changed their bodywork onthe back of the sidepods....it did not slope like that last year, if I remember correctly...
That should help the handling of the chassis in traffic....they were not as strong in traffic as the G-Force last year....that may change this season... |
