Salsin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
And another sequence: Ken Lush, Cooper S. Same event as above - Mini Se7en Club Malvern autocross 19/9/71. The marshall appearing in the final pic (no orange suits back then) is Dave Orchard who I believe is one of the longest-serving members of the Prescott Marshalls Club.

Salsin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
And for those who recall the titanic "David & Goliath" battles we used to enjoy so much, this is Gordon Spice harrying the big Ford Falcon of Brian Muir through the (old) Club Corner at Silverstone. International Trophy Meeting 30/3/69.

And he's run there and arrives to offer assistance almost before the car has stopped moving and before the dust has settled.

No problem with track limits back in those days. The inside of the track is very clearly defined!
