Anyone think that we could see a NSX in BGT or Spa or Nur 24 next year now that HPD have customer cars up for sale?

The #99 Rowe BMW has been withdrawn from the Blancpain GT Sprint round of Hungary, after damage in the previous VLN race.

2017 Blancpain GT Series
Strakka down to 3 cars for Hungary with Come Ledogar out with illness.
Surprised they didn't replace him for the weekend with someone like Tappy In other Strakka news, 20 year old Martin Kondric replaces owner Leventis to drive alongside Lewis Williamson this weekend No reason stated but Kondric has been looking pretty sharp especially in Blancpain GT Asia, so may well be a look at bringing him into the Strakka family long term |

Good news from Switzerland, as Emil Frey Lexus Racing joins the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup field at the Nürburgring with one Lexus RC F GT3.

I'm not expecting them to be super competitive. New tires for their car will be a big ask! But definitely looking forward to seeing them race.

You're totally right. Who was in that seat before then? Edit: they had a real mix up through the sprint season. They have ditched Loris Hezemans, and David Fumanelli |

Reading the words and analyzing the reflections of John Gaw, the Managing Director for Motorsport at Prodrive (Aston Martin Racing), I came to my mind the great battles between GT3 and GT2 in the 24 hours of Spa and 24 hours of Nurburgring of 6, 7 or 8 years ago.
Quote:
We all know that the ACO never had a great affinity to the GT. Ratel is the GT Man, I think that with a good BOP between GT3 PRO and GTE would be very interesting to admit GTE in Monza, Silverstone and Spa Francorchamps, and take advantage of the opportunity that the ACO leaves aside. We could have a big battle between Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Ford, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Bentley, McLaren and Lamborguini, taking all GT factory equipment together. We only need Corvette that they only race Le Mans in Europe. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/g...unity-for-gte/ |

Thanks marcel, I was unimpressed with Hezemans, a bit too crash prone. I thought Fumanelli was a bit better but nothing to shout about. Leventis was gentlemanly to give up his seat in his team, very much entitled to a place in his own team if he so wished. What ever happened to the Am Craig Fleming, he ran in a few Enduros at the start of the year I think All in all it's been a bit trial and error for the Strakka team this year in terms of drivers That said they have gained Barnicoat who has been a real stand out of several occasions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Anyone who has an hour to kill, watch the Ring qualifying race. Great battle for the lead. Very odd stewards call right at the end mind you. Edit: Ok after seeing the replay I guess I can see where the penalty came from for the Lambo. Last edited by Akrapovic; 16 Sep 2017 at 13:17. |
