Quite the world tour with France England Australia Sweden and the US all getting represented.

Sadly the photo of Peter Brock in the 05 'Humpy' Holden would be one of the last photos ever taken of Brockie racing on a circuit. The Goodwood pic would likely have been 3rd September 2006.... Just 5 days later on the 8th September and Brockie was sadly taken from us whilst competing in the Targa West Rally back in Western Australia.

RIP Peter Brock.

Thanks, Tim, I did attempt to chose a really mixed bunch. seems I succeeded.

EB, Indeed the picture would have been amongst the last ones taken. I sent copies to some chap in Oz who posted on some forum about Brock, telling him he could share with any fans in Australia. I think it was appreciated.

Nice picture there Peter .It shows the iconic JAP engine , which was an amazing piece of British engineering history . As well as the Morgan , that engine was used in lots of other cars and motorcycles .

I recall back in the 80s and 90s, you couldn't move on track without being monstered by a well driven Aston Martin DB4 GT. I also remember one driver who towed his DB4 GT on a trailer behind his Bentley.

They were everywhere! Where are they now?

Love the 50's saloons. Well I like all 3 groups, but particularly the saloons, especially the Metropolitan. Also a nice quirky selection of what I guess are Austin 7 and 750 specials. Oh with an old Van Diemen FF and a Lotus 7 plus the blue Crossley thrown in. Very nice.
