At the kind of output we're talking, for as long as we're talking, I'm most worried about heat. |

Why would they need such an amount of batteries if they were to go to the quick swap route? Is it possible to get a smaller package because there's less energy store? That's what I think should be a better idea. But it seems like they want to do the quick charge, if that's possible. This all hangs on them getting the funding to even do it, though.

Again, Perrin needs funding. Again, Perrin has another press release. Again, nothing will happen.
I'm very skeptical about Perrin nowadays. Just like (Project) Brabham. |

But seriously, if they can't find funding for a P2 project. How do they expect to find funding for a car company (unless they'll be a glorified coachbuilder) and if rumours are true, buying/sponsoring Force India? |

I like Perrin dreams. Maybe he only want to materialize the car once and probe he can make a car. An all electric car at Le Mans, very difficult to see, but I would like to know how can it be. I hope he can make it. World needs dreamers

The amount of time required of Le Mans pitstops these days could easily make swappable battery stacks viable. And to be frank, that's the only way to make long-distance electrical cars viable. |

Remember that the original plan was to have self-built LMP2 ready already by 2015, followed by self-built LMP1 in construction by 2016 and race ready by 2018. With both F1 and FE in horizon as well The only thing that ever did materialize was the yacht for David , which is the reason he disappeared from the face of the earth soon after. Well except for couple of appearances here and there when he's been asking for additional treasuries, to fund the ever rising upkeep costs of the said yacht. |

I agree. World needs dreamers. But how can these dreams pay their daily bills? That is my question.
