Website update, Tour "Dates" removed... Tour Blurb remains... Maybe it's been postponed?

Suprised by that, normally that'd be enough for a press release reiterating TKR's great history of developing drivers, from The Giz to Jason Richards.

DJ has recently been offering V8 test drives in NZ (at a price), and has been unable to meet any of the proposed test dates.
Failure to supply refunds for this test has forced one client to seek legal advise.
Why would anyone trust this man ????????

That's the enigma of the man... I mean, we can probably assume his Accountant still trusts him, dispite the little case of identity theft (or whatever you want to call it) that happened on these forums....quite remarkable really.

Any word on what the Team will be driving this year?

Spotted the TKR Falcon at a Nth Shore engine reconditioners the other day. Rumour is it is getting a "drive day" engine built and fitted.

Not that I'm aware of...more of the same "No Show"...No changes here.

brown dog, engine repairs ... atributable to not knowing how to check fluid levels... more likely inspired the "rumours"

There's a couple of ol hot lap cars sitting somewhere, reference to them continues on the wondersite...surely it would be smarter to re activate them rather than modifing his littleships taxi...

Subject to funds being available of course.

Warning... Warning... this email is circulating...

TEAM KIWI BACK IN MAIN V8 SUPERCAR CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A LITTLE SUPPORT FROM MANY.

Hi All

Please take a few moments to read through this important email and attachment. For the last 9 years a Team Kiwi Racing has provided significant opportunities for both drivers, crew and staff to experience the top level of motorsport both locally and on the international stage.

For the last season TKR has focused back on the local championship where we won the BMW Mini Championship to claim our 4th national title finishing in both first and second position while we have focused on rebuilding TKR to be ready for a return to the international level of competition.

During such time we have secured new sponsorship partners: EATON, Austral, Airport Oaks Collision Repairs, Konica Minolta, Pro, Norbar just to name a few who want to see TKR back in the main V8 Supercar game .

It is obvious during the last 12 months the V8 Supercar Championship is just not the same without a Kiwi based team for the Kiwi public, sponsors and supporters to follow. With this in mind TKR has the opportunity to back in the main V8 Supercar Championship in 2011 with a little support from you.

With this in mind TKR invite you to look at the following "2011 Foundation Membership" opportunity which sees you receive a significant amount of value in return for your @1,000 plus Gst.

As TKR has proven over the years if everyone puts in a little the end result is significant.

I know I want to see the TKR All Black Machine back in the V8 Supercar Championship providing on going opportunities for up and coming Kiwi drivers, crew and staff. Do you?

Please read the attached "2011 TKR Foundation Membership" opportunity. For your $1000 plus Gst investment you get 2 x V8 Supercar Hot Laps worth $500 plus Gst each in return just to start.

Can you please send me an email back in return confirming you wish to support this opportunity or not.

This is a very important opportunity to make sure we can make the budget required to be back in the main game in 2011 and prove such to the promoters. If we are unable to gain such support as required then it will simply make the job of a Kiwi team returning to the V8 Supercar Championship that much harder in the future.

This email has been sent to 500 selected past and present supporters and we require 400 to make the budget.

If you have any queries please feel free to contact me on 021 636 877.

With a lot of hard work between now and January I look forward to seeing you at the 2011 TKR pre season launch.

Regards
Team Kiwi Racing
David John

Finding 400 people to believe in the concept would be easy.

Finding 400 people to believe in the concept and have a lazy grand to spare would be much harder.

Finding 400 people to believe in the concept and have a lazy grand to spare, that have not been burnt or know someone who has been burnt by this "team" would be a damn near impossible in a country this size.

Anyone considering this mans offer should only do so if their money was going into a trust account, at least they may have some chance of getting their money back when he fails to deliver. Again.

Never Give Up...

No one gets their moneys worth, nor has any money belatedly profered covered expenses incured.
Those few who recieved the Official Assignees gracious allowance got closer than any others in the dreams nine year history...

Finding 400 people who haven't heard the word on his littleness...

A Brick and two hot lap packages.

Maybe he could spend the first grand on a spell check for his PC and grammar lessons...

'WITH YOU’RE SUPPORT'

'TKR has the opportunity to back in the main V8 Supercar'

'return for your @1,000 plus Gst'

With such professionalism he's bound to find 400 suckers

I thought sponsor / partners were supposed to get a return for their dollar.
Any company that supports Team Kiwi will have their brand and image tarnished, why would you.
It's quite obvious that any association with JD will do more harm than good.
To those new sponsors EATON, Austral, Airport Oaks Collision Repairs, Konica Minolta, Pro, Norbar, beware, you association with DJ will only harm your image.

I couldn't agree more stockman, although its more harmful to the pocket than the image.
Like the members of the late "Hamilton Hot 100 Club" they paid $1000.00 out each on the premiss of recieving similar exclusive treats.
Without exception they have enjoyed no rides,no car to see their company names displayed on,and no refunds.
Except for the abandoned building they constructed, carpeted, plumbed, wired and furnished, nothing but soft and warm for their inputs.
Just the memories of how the great pretender spun them his line.

How about sending DJ to Nigeria.

Now that would be significant...
