Your use of "parity" belies your bias - you just want Ford to win regardless of talent, skill, application or luck. It's not tiddlywinks, it's racing, and parity means and equal technical chance of winning. Right now even with an equal technical chance, DJR, Tickford and half of Grove and WAU are not up to the task. |

Parity based on race results is not clear enough. Supercars will have all the data from the weekend of Sandown. This is the only indicator. Even this is not an absolute. This is where it all goes down a rabbit hole.
This logic would be, if all the top Camaros crash out this weekend, and its a Ford podium. there will have to be a parity adjustment back the other way for the next round. That's the precedent being set, like it or not. |

Given that D2N did all the original CFD data for both cars, how it is that Ford has suddenty got data from them that shows a disparity?
Seems like a consultancy report that shows neatly what the person paying the bills is looking for, rather than a pure fact. It's not an airport, no need to announce your departure. |

What a **** show, why have they let it go so far? They can't screw up the race?

Perhaps instead of installing Ford’s new bodywork overnight, the Ford mobs could fit a Chev Gen3 skin to their chassis, take on a new engine from KRE amd see what that does…

For a series that does so many things right, it's frustrating for such an easily fixable problem to cause this much heartache. Race ONE body. Race ONE engine. Then sit back and enjoy one of the best racing series in the world, without the needless drama |

Then everybody showed up at Sandown, there were more Fords in the shootout than Chevs, then enduro luck struck and heaps of the fast Fords were taken out of the race. The race results had ZERO to do with parity. Ford just having tantrums now to make excuses for their lack of results. HOW is it possible people cannot see this? Ford has had every change they've asked for so far and they were HAPPY after The Bend. They had a **** weekend at Sandown but that is enduro racing. Parity trigger is not met after The Bend or Sandown. Take the new door panels and play on. |

Official Statement from Ford Motor Company
Quote:
If the Australian Touring Car Championship does not take this seriously, they have rocks in their head. The impartially of D2H Group is definitely severely under question, given they have been previously engaged by 888 Race Engineering as their aerodynamics consultant. Applying the changes for Adelaide is really too little, too late. |

This is inconsistent with Ford Performance's analysis of D2H Group's data and therefore, likely, an analysis which is incorrect in the extreme.

How did D2H reach the decision the S650 rear wing should be lowered and S650 front winglets removed, when compared to the S550 or Camaro, despite the data showing the S650 at a disadvantage?! Last edited by V8 Fireworks; 5 Oct 2023 at 04:00. |

You forgot Tickford codrivers all running off track and DJR crashing the Castrol car out of the race.

How you can't see there is a parity issue is beyond beleif. For the whole year Ford has been disadvantaged by the whole system and Supercars has failed to make satisfactory changes. The Chev teams voted NO in this case. But why have the teams been given this much power to make this dicission. |

When your winning, you don't want a single change. But when your loosing you want changes made straight away. Same thing in 2019, if the Holden teams had good enough drivers they wouldn't have sooked so much to have changes made. It goes both ways. |

Kai Allen seemed to extract something from his Mustang in P2 that no other Ford pilot’s could..
