ADP and both Grove cars had no issue.

Cam needs to quit whining, or flat out just quit. He's never going to finish better than 2nd in the championship.

Also for those complaining about Mustang pace late in the race?

Listen to the driver comments, many were fuel saving.
Cam can say whatever he wants, you don't write the script.

YOU made this claim yet you ask another user who HAS seen speed trap numbers to prove their assertion?

You made the claim, the anus is on your shoulders to furnish proof.

What a disgrace for the series to have the parts and not fit them due to undue influence from Chevrolet Racing who don't even really compete in the series...

A shameful and dark day for the sport, as Camaros build another 10 second lead. Dreadful. To think they could have had a close and exciting race and made Ford Performance happy just by fitted the data-driven parts to improve the disparity.
Waters Furious.
Plenty of others suggesting the Fords were not catchable with straightline speed.

I think 4 in the top ten will tell you we arnt far off.

(waits for the regulars to complain)

Agree not far off, but did you see a mustang pass any of the leading camaros down conrod or up mountain straight?

No those were composite roof panels for the Altima and Falcon. A COG test was added hastily after Albert Park 2019.

Yes, correct. And you were calling for COG tests in 2018. 2019 you didn't want any testing. Then was it 23kg bolted in the roof of the Mustangs? which you didn't want testing for at all in the first place. Stop shifting the goal posts to suit your argument at the time.

I guess we see now if a parity trigger is met.

Shame they couldn't work that out before the race.

Gen3 needs a good upgrade to fix all the stupid problems.

We need to compare the leading cars of both brands not the back markers.

I hope supercars remember that the ford teams helped them out on race day by doing their best to make a race of it despite being disadvantaged.

It's a shame that "dumb" politics prevent the necessary changes from being used at the Bathurst 1000km!

[Worse still, some spinsters were trying to spin the Mustang as being "competitive" at Bathurst and being "uncatchable" on the straights! ]

The aforementioned source claims that Top 10 Shootout data shows the Mustangs were at a three to four-kilometre per hour deficit up Mountain Straight and down Conrod Straight.

It's a farce! Both engines should have been limited to 5.0L and 32-valves should have mandated so that KRE could develop the Northstar V8 for use. That would have simplified one aspect of parity.

The rules were set before the race started, BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED.

All the Ford teams knew the rules but still persisted with trying to have something applied that was outside the rules.

Now the policies of the series that the Ford teams help draft can work as they are intended to.

Hope Ford's magical 5th set of changes will solve their problems - or will next race bring them blaming something else?

So far we had top end power, COG, front aero, more power (throttle body), then rear aero, all granted as per Ford's request. Now front aero.

Interesting if the 97 and 99 failed to finish the race, and it was a full blue podium. With the parity trigger Monday morning.

I don't think that would have impacted it. Works off fastest and slowest laps from each make etc.

As many changes as it takes, parity still hasn't been achieved due to supercars dragging the chain because of T8 whinging.

Yes. Still a number of Ford's came home in front of a lot of Chev's. Car 11 one of the fastest cars on track most of the day, top three to four. A number of Ford's faster down the shoot than many Chev's. See what comes of the review, maybe nothing.

Need to compare the speed of the top teams not the battlers.

Car 11 was racing the top teams. GT & DR managed to get that thing back in the top ten. Payne was fast down the shoot also. So they are able to get speed out of those cars. Mistakes do happen.

Different areas are tried each time to make it even. Why does it matter how many changes are made.

Interesting to me that Brown wasn't able to make progress against the Mustangs in front of him, but at this stage everyone had their own issues and some were closer on fuel than others.
