TCR South America planned for 2021
https://www.tcr-series.com/news/item...merica-in-2021 I'll believe it when I see it. Also, it will struggle to fit within the crowded Argentine touring car scene. |

Can't agree more. Still waiting on TCR Las Americas, US Touring Car Championship and TCR West Coast so TCR isn't quick to make it to the Americas. Took about 5 years for it to have decent grids in USA. Also not TCR but Argentina F4 was meant to start last July and still waiting...

I am cynical about it too. All these planned series that never happened, so no guarantee it will happen in S. America either. It's a nice idea though. But as you say the F4 series has yet to start and that could have been alright

Interestingly enough, Geely Motorsport is selling the Lynk & Co 03 TCR for 136 500 euros.
https://geelygroupmotorsport-com.s3....re_2020_v2.pdf Wonder whether the cost cap for TCR cars was increased. |

Briche having a nightmare of a season after being so impressive last year. Think the BOP is a little unfair on the Peugeots anyway this weekend.
Oriola has been disappointing too. Lloyd and Halder seem to be the most consistent drivers so far (though only 3 rounds in!) |

Audi is reported to build a new TCR car, possibly with an option to run on bio-ethanol:

With a working BOP that would seem like a good option for a manufacturer to sell it as green motorsport. However TCR seems like they're struggling enough as it is to get the BOP sorted, seems mad to allow another concept in. Then again, it's not like there's a huge amount of competitive types of car still on offer, so it'd be good to have a new one. |

In my opinion BOP problems are mainly in WTCR, it's less a problem in the regular TCR series.
Would be nice if Audi develops a new RS3. Don't know if bio-fuel really is a problem for BOP. It's not diesel. |

18 Apr - Hungaroring 23 May - Spielberg 13 Jun - Poznan 25 Jul - Grobnik 22 Aug - Slovakiaring 5 Sept - Brno There is no way I won't go to Poznań. As long as I won't have other work that weekend. |
