318d company car. Before that it was a Saab 93 1.9TiD. I love the BMW, sadly it appears to be a magnet for complete and utter pillocks, especially on motorways.

Welcome Dammit. Nice car, is it modified at all?
I was driving a Focus TDCi in the UK for a few weeks (over 3000 miles). It changed my mind about the value of a 1.6TD engine, before that I thought "why would you bother", but it was great and there were only a couple of occasions I would have wanted more grunt. Getting 54mpg average consumption was a huge bonus with the mileage we covered, and a lot better than the 30-40mpg range I normally get with the work car at home (1.8 auto Corolla) |

I'm about to scrap the stopgap Fiat Punto diesel... It got me around for 6 months, for £500. Bargain.
Replacement is a Fester 1.4 TDCi. £35 a year tax! We also have a Golf estate TDi that appears NOT to have a speed limiter fitted. I have seen 130+MPH on the clock! |

I popped in to see a friend on the way home from work and, erm, I think I just agreed to buy their bright yellow Seicento for a grand! haha I just need to inform er indoors who was insisting on an automatic! lol It's a bit of a random car, I know, but it's actually kinda cool (in a gay way!) and it seems to be a decent little thing. Above all - it's something I can afford. The 5k price range we ended up looking at was waaaaay more than I could spare... Now just need to arrange insurance.

I know what you mean about the 'magnet' - I had a 320 D until last year. Best car I've ever owned but people always expect you to drive it like a stereotypical 'BMW driver'. When I retired last year I traded it in for a Mini Clubman Diesel as we didn't need two large-ish cars anymore. Love the Mini - I know there's a bit too much 'retro' - but it's great fun to drive.

Audi A3 1.8T
Good handling, fast and with almost no turbo lag, but a bit fuel thirsty... |

nice. i turned up home with an 03 Suzuki GSX-R 600. black/silver, nice bike. Mum made me sell it though only had it for a month, she hates bikes with a passion and then some. made a little profit on it so it was sweet. not that big of a bike person myself either i like them but i am not as big into them as i am cars. spear of the moment thing buying it as it was cheap had no-where to put it anyway so probably for the better fun while it lasted.
