Surely this isn't the end??

I quite like the prospect of part finance from DJ - something he would be quite familair with I'm sure (pay a little bit, take the goods, forget to pay the rest??).

The worrying thing is though, what is he scheeming now??!!

Predictable perhaps…is this public last minute dash for dollars to finance an offer, a “courthouse steps settlement” for IDL the Source?

OR…More smoke…
Presenting an illusion of five vehicles pending sales and infer tradable assets, future income/cash?
A move to legitimize the “generation of Contracts” with settlements dates sometime in the future.
Contracts one would perhaps present to a court as evidence in support of a request for yet more time to settle one long over due account?

Is this one for real?
The Perkins Holden was reported as sold by the OA last time around, has it been repurchased and is now available to be sold again?
Is this another of those pay now and we will sort out delivery of your purchase as soon as the product becomes available?... Merchandise anyone?
Are the vehicles advertised for sale available for sale?…Hot Laps anyone?

So many questions, I think I’ll head downtown next week and sit in on proceedings just to hear how it goes. Last time, DJ blew the Judge a pile of poo and he got busted.

A thought…maybe the primary need here is a fistful of dollars for lawyers’ appearance fees.Floating debentures aren’t bankable when a company sinks.

However you look at it, this is just one more supplier who never got paid.
Not the first to accept the standard, and historically dishonored, agreements for deferred payments from his littleness.
Close on three years later and IDL is still battling for a settlement.
That’s how it is!

Look at this companies’ history, DJs’ been denying his debts for years!

nothing new here, learnt of some of the Biggest AU company's, scam every investors money, disapear it to some where else , cry poor, etc and reopen under another name.

Regulator authorities are meant to stop this. Fat chance

I like the bit where he say's

"Plenty of track data available.
Happy to help with getting new driver up to speed if required"

What would he know. From what I am aware, he had NO track input into the running of these 3 mini's this season.
The drivers and their crews had NO track assistance from David at all, in fact the last 2 rounds a car had to be leased (at the drivers expense) to finish the series.
Selling shirts and hats was his #1 priority when he did attend, already conned the drivers so moved on to the next sucker.

I think there was a spelling error he was meant to say

" Happy to help with getting new driver to SPEND"

Selling merchandise is for pocket money, gotta eat Eh?

The cars run themselves, usually paid for by those in close proximity to the drivers...nothing new here!

Going by DJ's slim frame, Im guessing he'd be aiming for high turnover?

1st October 2010
For immediate release
TEAM KIWI HAVE SIGNED THREE TALENTED KIWI DRIVERS FOR THE 2010/11 NEW ZEALAND MOTORSPORT SERIES.
Team Kiwi Racing (TKR) have confirmed today they have signed three new drivers to their TKR Development Team to compete in this seasons New Zealand Motorsport Championship with a fourth driver to be announced in the coming weeks.
These new drivers will certainly be exciting to watch in the coming season as TKR have been very strategic in their selection process, and are pleased to have been successful in obtaining quality drivers.
"I see this opportunity with TKR as another step forward, and one that has the potential to see me realise my dream of being a V8 Supercar driver in the future. TKR has done so much for motorsport in this country and provided so many Kiwi's with the opportunity to drive a V8 Supercar. It makes me proud to be associated with such history" said ???.

IN SUMMARY
"I believe running these three guys is going to be very good for TKR, our sponsors and our restructuring plan to be back in the main game, V8 Supercars, in the near future. Craig will be racing for outright honors but he will also help the young guns where and if they need a little assistance. Matthew and Ben are both smart enough to listen and learn, and have both shown they have speed as drivers. This will be a very good tussle this season with all the drivers pushing each other. They know each other well and are friends away from the track. All in all I think we have three guys who are each capable of winning the 2010/11 BMW Mini Championship" said David John, Team Owner.
END.
For further info contact: David John 0011 64 21 636 877

Six months after the above on the wondersite.

The ol Falcon ride car and a Mini for sale
No announcement of a fourth “strategically selected driver” buying a ride.

With tomorrow morning’s liquidation application in Auckland...

Is DJ’s restructuring plan on track? We should all know by close of business tomorrow.

BTW…If you are looking for a good race Mini take a look at this

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Specialist-cars/Competition-cars/auction-364897885.htm
It’s a couple of $K lighter a good trader and you will get what you see.

ITM 400 today. We saw the Mini racing teams Hot Laps sign offering something new for the public to share. You can now buy a no ride in their ‘trade me’ Supercar for $275.00 or alternately a squirt in a mini for $99.00.
Sold rides in the immobile Falcon for years, it was restored to a runner a while back apparently.
Now the Falcons for sale you have a rare opportunity to get ripped off at a discount.
The Mini on display had no for sale sign on it, but on trade me it sez you can take your pic of the three for $25K…
No new proclamations on the wondersite regarding the sales of these vehicles, nor any for sale advertising visible on the mini trackside. A perfect place to advertise race cars for sale I would have thought….

You would think that having For Sale signs at the ITM400 would be logical if you were trying to sell race cars, but DJ struggles when it comes to things like logic and common sense. Any update on Friday April 1st?

It did three weeks ago when it was first posted, I had a look. Knowing a bit about the TKR 'background', I cringed when I read it. More smoke and mirrors!

U: The names behind the action, the week to 3 April 2011, part 2

Withdrawn: One creditor withdraws application to wind up Team Kiwi Racing
Court liquidation application, defendant: Team Kiwi Racing Ltd
Directors: David John, Manukau
Applicant: Matthew Darby
Other details: While this application was withdrawn in one court, a defended hearing of IDL The Source Ltd’s application to wind Team Kiwi Racing up was in another court and I haven’t ascertained the outcome of that yet. Mr John is a director of David John Motorsport Trust Ltd (originally called Team Kiwi Racing Ltd, removed from register 2007) and several related companies also removed from the register.

Smoke,mirrors?

"Smoke and mirrors" is a metaphor for a deceptive, fraudulent or insubstantial explanation or description, i.e. not what it seems. That sums up his whole operation really!

TKR out at puke today with about 30 "LUCKY" punters.turned up with car on rooted rubber from last day out--so need to get wheels off and take down to beauripaires to get tyres changed over--then right rear wouldn't come off the car so changed 3 x tyres and left old rear on--gene rollinson in the suicide seat again.

And from what I hear, TKR were out again on Saturday and if I haven't go my wires crossed, it sounds as if that cheeky old left hand tyre let go at the kink. Suffice to say the big black machine is now a few inches shorter front and rear and won't be doing any hotlaps without a serious trip to the doctor...

Another trip around the country cap in hand?
