ByKolles should rename themselves to LeKolles. Or Prescarolo. Might be allowed to race with a name like that.

We know jokers are available to hypercar manufacturers. I maintain it's a huge F-up if they aren't on the grid at Spa, and thus Le Mans. |

Maybe the ACO will play relative hardball. Who knows. That article did say Pug only found out about the Spa stipulation via the media.
The ACO's hand is probably strong enough right now that they could do this. Effectively saying race the full season from Spa or you aren't racing at all this year. That would surely force Pug to get their award-winning car off the trailer. From a financial and marketing perspective, no Peugeot really hurts the ACO I'd imagine from a domestic crowd PoV at LM. You're effectively inviting people to watch a re-run of last year's race without them - except Toyota will have drastically improved their car. I guess the key difference between Pug and Glickenhaus is that Pug aren't trying to disrespect the rest of the WEC. They are literally considering missing the biggest race and debuting later with no fanfare. I understand Jim's rationale completely but he was looking to pick and choose markets and save money. |

According to what is reported on this article, they didn't even know how long their car can actually last since they made 9x8 come back to the pits everytime they were feeling something was wrong... quite funny considering the paragraph above tells "the key thing is reliability". To get a 5 years homologation for a car so clearly premature and underdeveloed looks like a suicide to me, it's not they can really upgrade hybrid, chassis, aero or engine in 2 weeks. |

Besides the racing project maybe Peugeot also a separate sponsor budget for Le Mans and WEC events which keeps ACO happy?

from the outside looking in, the project does look a little rushed to make this years championship...and would probably benefit from delaying until 2023. (which is fine by me....hoping to attend LM23) |

Yeah, that's what happens when PR managment has more influence than racing division on racing programs... by far they only seem to know that real life car works like their simulation model and not much more... it's a take or leave, what can realistically change in two weeks? Toyota was succesfully doing 30H tests since october 2020 and GR010 shown to be everything but perfect and bulletproof. |

For the sake of future competition, and while it would be dissapointing not to see them this year, i would far rather have Pug make the right long term decision than rush into it and be another Nissan.... |

A little summary of the Pug so far:
https://www.autosport.com/wec/news/1...o-far/8228428/ They haven’t decided on who will be paired with who. Tyre, engine, aero. And, of course, when it will race! Who knows! |

If they miss Spa there's no way they're allowed at Le Mans right? I'd love to see them there but if that happens the ACO has some big explaining to do to the likes of ByKolles. It's an interesting scenario I'm eager to watch unfold.

Honestly, I have the feeling that the development of the Porsche LMDH is more advanced than this Peugeot LMH.

And yes, that is what is expected. Need to race before Le Mans to get in Spa. But the lack of ByKolles entry is more than just not committing to other races: https://tentenths.com/forum/showthre...41869&page=105 |

Can I have 30p on a massive Pikes Peak special please? The kind that looks like someone's nailed a bunk bed to the diffuser.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Peugeot try that out. It's something that they've done many a time in the past and they would no doubt love to take on that hill again

After stealing all the hair from his Dad’s head Kevin Magnussen May race with his Dad at Le Mans this year if Peugeot don’t enter.
