Hi Tim D -- I now own the Cannon GT & it seems it was fitted with a Ford MAE originally. I'm trying to trace its early history -- do you have any more info? Thanks

That's not John Filbee behind Warren Pearce, it's John Wilson.

These are from the '76 British GP at Brands. I was there at the time and remember it well; James Hunt getting disqualified.

Here are two ways to look at the old images I have on flickr.....

Categorized in sets....

http://www.flickr.com/photos/46681980@N03/sets/

In chronological order, the most recently added first...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/46681980@N03/

I add new stuff when I get the chance...I'm doing it in my spare time.

All of my images are from North America, with the oldest from '74 and the most recent from somewhere in the mid '90s.

As of this posting I have roughly 850 images uploaded our of the approximately 75k images in my archives. So it will be a long time before I have a significant percentage of my images uploaded.

Len Taft

I remember Len coming round the paddock at Mallory Park. He would also put the numbers on your doors for you in removable paint. As you say, this was before the vynil type was available. Also a couple of girls would be there carrying a paint pot and a brush and do the same......long gone days I'm afraid. Also, there would be a lot of independent photographers calling on you after the race was over, trying to sell you lots of photographs they had taken. Does this still happen today I wonder?

Sorry Andrew, that's not John Filbee, it's me! Mike jumped the start,
Warren passed him at Druids and the pix is of me going through on the inside of Bottom Bend - long tome ago...

1968 Picture

Hi everyone, a good friend and indeed one of my team members back in the late sixties, sent me this photograph. It was taken in 1968 at Mallory Park, and the guy inside the car is the one that sent me the picture. Paul Bagnall. I have never seen this before. The car was the 1760 push rod, and was all metal, and if you look to the right of the picture, that's me wearing a new pair of NOMEX overalls! Thanks Paul.

Sunbeam in Milwaukee

This Sunbeam appeared at the 2017 "Millers at Milwaukee" vintage Indycar meet, at the Milwaukee Mile. Have seached Anthony S Heal writings and unable to develop information.
