Andrew Fellowes - Vintage Racecar Mag
The July issue of Vintage Racecar has a very nice photo of Andrew Fellowes in his BT-36 at speed on Eastern Creek Raceway, Australia. Enjoy!

Correct Paint Schemas for 35's
I'm in the process of painting 35-10. In the black and white photo at the 1971 Race car show (with the 35 displayed at an angle), it appears that the car is painted red with yellow wings and white rondels. Is this correct?
Also any other period-based photos, preferable in color would be appreciated. Thanks, Kent |

35-10 history
By the way, do any of you have any history on 35-10 other than the recent sale history in E-Bay in 2006? I've talked to Frank Costey and he didn't have any information prior to 1988. He said a dentist in Southern California owned it for a while, before that it was in Canada. Really at a loss here.
thanks, Kent |

Kent
Do you have original bodywork for 35-10? If you can sand an area to reveal the succession of paint coats back to the original gel this may help. As an early FB car there are only a limited number of possibilities for its first owner, and the colour schemes would help identify and eliminate those possibles Chris |

35-10 paint
Chris,
Excellent point. I don't know for sure if my bodywork is original or not, but I know my sponsons are. I'm actually having the sponsons prepped now, so I'll try and check before they are completely stripped. But I'll certainly check the bodywork as well. Thanks, Kent |

Another Found BT35 #39
A nice conversation this morning with Allen Lader. Al has receipt for #39 dated 6/71. Fred flew the car over following Allen's shunt of his BT29 at Mexico. Allen ran the car at Edmonton, Donnybrook, Elkhart, Mossport, and Westwood that year. He sold the car to a friend collector who has it "as raced" in deep storage. Owners name withheld. Al would like to buy the car back and restore it!

Al Lader photo's
Al Lader was kind enough to share early photos from the Fred Opert Calendar, Earl's Court Auto Show, Jan of 1971, and Monterey Mexico with Nick Craw (9). But, how do I post them to the group?

Contacts for Brian Robertson?????
I would appreciate hearing any and all ideas on how to contact Brian Robertson. Repeated calls to the listed RALT number in Los Angeles go un-answered. Does RALT no longer exist?
Ideas? My thanks, bob slusher #18 ex. Robertson car |

Original wing hardware help needed
Hi:
I am rehabilitating my original wing but find that I have no idea what the original attachment hardware looked like. I would very much appreciate measures, photo’s, descriptions of the hardware and where it connects on the running gear. My thanks, bob slusher |

they used the gearbox mounting bolts and were attached at the rear of the gearbox with two small bracing brackets to the dog bones. I'll photo and email direct with measurements,
