You've seen a Nascar trying to negotiate corners, right? I rest my case.

It handles really long ones just fine.

I like a good light car myself, but 100hp is not too much for anything. Hell, the Gixxer 600 a few post back has over 100 hp. More power is always more better.

Except in the case of a Fiat 500, it would seem...

Dodge Ram 1500 Double Cab with Hemi, can not be driven without a smile, particularly with sports exhaust system

Also tow a trailer with a rover SD1 race car in the back, you get very strange looks towing a trailer up a hill on a motorway at ~~mph.

I must be the only going racing with a more powerfull engine in the tow vehicle than the race car in the back.

Chevy is a Brand. i.e. my engine was from a Chevy Corvette. GM is the parent company. I dare say it is a Caddy Labelled lump when in a Cady CLS for instance - does it matter.

It was one hell of a wild ride - nothing got near it in 4 years

Just a pet hate of mine, mainly because of all the morons in australia who put 'chev' badges on their car assuming their car has the 'chev' motor. When theres no such thing, theres a GM motor supplied to Chev, Holden, and all the others...

I gather you mean LS7 power levels? Could it be a 'Terminator' blown 4.6 quad cam? Have seen one of those imported & put in an Aussie Falcon with something stupid like 800hp at the wheels

Just got my new car yesterday, its a 2007 BMW 320D SE E90 in Silver. Lovely car so far, its sporty yet quiet and very economical, just trying to remember why I ever went away from RWD...

I've owned a Jaguar XK since August 2007. Done 45,000 miles so far, most recently seen at Le Mans for the 24 hours.

Modifications include:-

- Gosling push/pull hand controls and steering knob
- XKR black grille without silver strake
- 20" Team Dynamics Equinox II wheels
- chrome frames for headlights, taillights and foglights
- Carbon fibre wheeled wheelchair for carrying in the boot!

The Swedish flag on the fuel cap is a nice touch.

I've got a red 1999 Fiat Punto 1.2. Good enough little car for me, but once I'm out of uni with a stable job I hope to upgrade to a 500!

Didn't see and intro section so I'll use this as my forum intro, too. I'm a senior in mechanical engineering trying to get some automotive tech along the way although it's a bit difficult to find. My daily driver is a 1983 BMW 635csi, and I have a former dd that is now my toy car which is a 1985 635csi. I'm a bit of a Bimmer guy......

These look to be some great forums and I look forward to reading in on what's going on.

My pride and joy is an import (to the UK), 1996 Nissan Stagea RS4.

Bags of room and a total sleeper (in it as well, as I have at race meets already). It goes like billyo.

Now that is rather nice, in a "what the hell is that?!" kinda way.
