NBCSN and FS1 have had lower ratings than ESPN.

But NBC will air more Cup races than ABC did in the past few years. Same with Nascar Xfinity.

Yeah. Rough night so far for Chase. Penalty for him, sent to the back and get caught up in an early incident with back markers.

The throwback cars are really cool. Even spotted a naked Skoal bandit.

Looks like we could be in for a long night with some rain moving in from the east.

Darlington is just really cool.

That's a sharp one. Clint Boyer's Buddy Baker tribute is hand painted... that by default is my favorite.

The #17 Silver Fix was cool too.

Even though I like Winn Dixie Martin tribute the #9 at Darlington should've been something else for that number

Agreed. That's a pretty cool livery, too.

The first mustard colored Bud can car was neat, too. Hell, anything is better than these modern, flat brimmed hat BS styled what have yous.

It's the track. There's not a better one out there right now for srockcars.

And call me crazy....I've had visions of an Apache Family Labor Weekend trip to Darlington next year tonight.

Local NBC affiliate went from race coverage to news of Lanier Drownings, babies dying in cars and shootings right after the race. I wasn't quick enough with the clicker.

Darlington is another track that would spice up the chase however
it looks like it is back on Labor Day weekend to stay.

Way to go Carl! I was at Atlanta at the March race in 2005
to see his first Cup win race beating Johnson by a fender.
Now this makes it his 25th cup win.

Harvick has two wins, 10 second places and 18 top 5s!
Logano has three wins, 6 top 3s and 15 top 10s.
Earnhardt has two wins, 8 top 3s and 11 top 5s.
Johnson has four wins, 9 top 3s and 11 top 5s.

They deserve to fight for the title at the final race.
