Looks like others noticed the strakes on the wing like the current Lamborghini and Glickenhaus

The squashed, or elongated, front end isn’t pretty. The camouflage colour scheme doesn’t help. Maybe with a decent paint job it’ll look OK. |

Not unsurprising really, since there are only a few limited solutions to aero requirements. The front of all the Hypercars at Le Mans were very similar so I wouldn't expect any massive differences in that area either. The underside is, I suspect, where major differences will be found.

I think it looks vastly better than the much admired (but visually hideous) 'an elephant just sat on my front end' Mercedes.......

I except to feel like that when we see it properly. Proportionally it looks a bit too long for me. But, hey, it doesn’t look exactly like the others and the others don’t look all the same.
Peter makes a good point that aero is aero and there are limited solutions for things. Desipte this we have more variety than you would normally expect. |

Maybe the last V12 we will hear on circuits. This Aston Martin will be the next darling of spectators.

That was great. can't wait to hear it in person!
I always chuckle at the camo liveries in testing. Nobody is trying to steal design ideas from them! |

Sweet baby Jesus that sounds good!
Now can someone just promise me these will last longer than the AMR One's at Le Mans... |

Depends on how good cosworth made this engine package? What is comforting to think is this engine is detuned from it's original peak of ~1000hp. Maybe that's a good problem to have?

Sounds amazing though, it must be repeated; the countertenor to Cadillac's basso profondo. |

That's an extraordinary indictment of modern times. Changing a perfectly good (and far better) landscape video into a portrait video because that's what is demanded these days by social media..... Beggars belief.

Doesn’t sound like it’s revving anywhere near the 11,000 rpm limit of the amr pro. Sounds like he’s short shifting at 7000-8000 rpm which is perhaps what I thought might be the case for the lmh car in order to fall into the bhp engine power band.

I think that will make it sound nicer. Generally engines sound more impressive at higher revs, but they lose the quality. The screaming V10s that are looked back on with nostalgia now don’t sound good, but are super impressive. But I say this too often. Although not as often as I moan about portrait videos. |

You also have to take into account economy, I doubt a V12 even a very well put together one is going to be as good on fuel as a V6 or V8 turbo, so they will have to revamp the motor considerably to make it usable for this sort of racing.

Yes. Both fuel economy and reliability.
Jaguar had to limit their revs in 1991 with their V12 back then. Not that it was anywhere near these rpm’s. Of course they won’t suffer with stint lengths with economy under the current rules. But you are still carrying more weight. |
