And looking at your track P it would also make a great fantasy track with a tweak here and there! I think it would be a great track to race on!

Long straights, some challenging kinks and some tight corners, all around a street circuit! Sounds AND looks good to me!

Ahh I see,
I'll just have to wait then! I have another one coming along soon but obviously the detail is nothing like yours. |

the track isn't really very innovative actually...
Its got some 90 degree corners, a hairpin, some esses and a medium speed corner. 12 turns in all... |

Today I decided to go back and look at the first 20-30 pages of this topic. At one point it started getting to rovals, and I came up with an idea, and here it is.
The oval is sort of like Pocono. The first turn is almost flat-out with 15 degrees of banking, followed by a long backstraight. The second and third corners are (obviously) slower, and have 19 and 22 degrees of banking, respectively. For the GP course I tried to use as much of the oval as I could, even though I only used 60-65% of it. The first turn is the 15 degree banked turn of the oval, but we only use most of this turn before slowing down for a 180 degree turn onto the infield circuit. Following this is a right-hand sweeper onto a long straight with a chicane at the end resembling the first chicane at Monza. I hadn't originally planned to have the chicane there, but decided it was too risky to potentially have the cars smacking straight into the Turn 2 wall at such a high speed. I don't think you'd like the results if that did happen. Following the banked Turn 2 is a medium length straight and a medium left-hand corner that links the oval to the external circuit. After a 4 or 5-second straight is a right-hander leading onto the pit straight for the external circuit. At the end is yet ANOTHER medium-speed corner, going left. And now I'm getting tired of saying medium, so here comes a slower corner, not really tight or a hairpin but should require some braking. After this is a right corner and a long straight. At the end of it is a fast left, a short straight, and the esses, which covers the next four turns. Upon exiting that last corner, we re-enter the infield and brake for a slow corner that will join with the infield circuit. Following this corner is a right kink and the final turn, a medium-speed corner and the last part of the Turn 3 banking. We come off the banking and cross the start/finish line to complete a lap of the circuit. |

Yes, mine is anticlockwise. Usually I have an arrow near the finish line to tell you which way it goes around, but this time I used a guided lap, which I don't normally do, but I actually quite like this one so I decided to put in the extra effort..
Maybe I'll send a detailed version to Conrad if most of you like it. |

Uh..do any of you even know if Conrad is still updating the fantasytracks site? Because he hasn't updated since the 16th of last month and I'm thinking that either he's on a long vacation or has stopped updating..
In either case, here's the detailed version of the track I posted this morning. |
