Be prepared for sun, rain, hail, wind, etc. UK weather can be 'interesting'...
As said, walk all the way round over the 6 hours.
Email me, I MAY have a spare FREE ticket?
Depends on if Minime has used up the other 2 I had.

For the start, get to the OUTIDE of the first corner, past the emergency vehicle access point.
Then head out into the country for Hangar straight and the full sound effect!

It's relatively easy to get a good view all the way round these days, as they've built up the spectator banking. It's even possible to shoot over or round the fencing, now...

24Hours should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi guys i am here from Australia and am not missing this for the world! Is there a way to get hold of either pit walk or paddock tickets? I would like to maximise my time there. The last time i saw racing of this dicipline was when the ALMS came to australia for the race of a thousand years, so im pumped for this one.

Somehow I doubt you can BUY a pit lane pass for Silverstone?
General Entry SHOULD get you into the paddock, and from there you can nose in the back of the pits, if that's what you wanted?
There's often a Pit Lane Walkabout offer to boot, just before they all go off onto the grid...
Whether they charge for this, sorry, no idea...

No, tickets bought on the gate are £15 for Saturday and £25 for Sunday. There is no mention of weekend tickets being available on the gate, these can apparently only be bought in advance at a cost of £20.

So, if anyone's going and hasn't bought their tickets already, it would be prudent to book online. This can be done through the official Silverstone Website.

Correct, plus a £3 handling fee (that's a one-off charge for orders of up to 10 tickets). Children under 16 get in free.

Ooh, intriguing. What's on the Friday? Support race practice sessions?

Also, is it just me or is the entry list a little late coming on the LMS website?

Hello

So Friday is free If we all remember, at the 2005 race the advance ticket was also a roving grandstand ticket except most of them were closed and the security tried very hard to keep them closed!!

I was going to be at Silverstone for two days but I'm now taking my oldest daughter to University on the Saturday so its race day only. Very much looking forward to it and I just hope the weather holds but considering the summer we've had .

Had a lovely surprise yesterday morning; a very nice lady from Motorsport News () telephoned to inform me that I'd won 2nd prize in their 'Silverstone Le Mans Series Competition'. Not exactly sure what I've won (wasn't really concentrating ), but I know it includes free entry tickets.

Really chuffed, especially since I've been very remiss this year and hadn't got round to preordering our tickets!

(PS If anyone's got an old copy of MS with the competition details, could they please let me know what I've won?)

I'm expecting to be there for at least one of the days. My lad works for a Mitsubishi/Peugeot dealership and his boss is taking part in the 207 Spyder Cup. So he'll be there all weekend - as can I be, if I want to. For free - even better! (It seems I'm probably going to be the team photographer!).

Have we thought about a Tenths meeting?
