There's some astonishing news -Trulli can do a fast lap! Did anyone know that?
Sorry Linda, but at Hockenheim he was wimpish. On lap one DC was 6th and Jarno 2nd - that's a big advantage to blow, epsecially as DC had to pass Webber and changed his strategy. Silverstone was very wimpish once the nuter came on the track. He seemd to be getting voertook by everyone. He did nothing at note in France or Nurburgring either What mistake did the team make with Trulli rather than Alonso? My take on it was that Jarno was slower than Alonso in terms of in/out laps, whcih let Fernando leapfrog both him and DC. Near the end of last eyr I started ot think Jarno could race, and was really advancing. This year he'e fell back into the same rut as before. |

The British media seem to have massive problems with Italian drivers. They finished Zanardi's career and now they're trying to finish Trulli's.
Boots, you seem to not notice the fact that Coulthard also eclipsed The Great Fernando at Hockenheim - that is conveniently forgotten. This Trulli is rubbish bandwagon (largely populated by the English - who seem perpetually perturbed that he got turfed) really is a joke. He has been as quick or quicker than Alonso all year. Usually they match times during a race. Why would you change something (the Renault team) that is obviously working quite well. I give up - no matter what Trulli does, you guys have made up your minds. Congrats to Renault for maintaining a good, solid, harmonious package for 2004, that will only take the team forward. |
