I'm wondering what will/won't be allowed in the Hypercar LMP1 regs. The front wing and huge tunnels on the Valkyrie can't be legal per the ACO, right?
Also, Graham from DSC in the non-ACO specific Aston Martin Racing thread said that the Valhalla was supposed to form the original basis for AMR's LMP1 Hypercar. I wonder what changed that and what form a Valhalla influenced LMP1 might have taken, be it GTE+ or a DPI-like LMP1 like what Toyota's might very well be. |

Anyone know whether these cars will need to have BHH/BHF. Or could we finally be rid of that sh*te due to the slower speeds, roadcar cues etc.

Also, the cars will be significantly heavier so maybe that will help to keep them on the ground, GTE-style. |

Aston's Chris Goodwin again reiterating on the N24 coverage that we can expect privateer Astons on the grid - seemingly from the outset.

Or is that the factory effort will seem like a privateer effort?
Sorry, that was uncalled for. to Aston. |

Last time that Aston has been in top Le Mans category we all know how the story finished. Their priority can't be selling cars to privateers, but to build a double-stint car in first place.

Fortunately for them the car is already 'built'. They need to test it and all that first but being based on the road Valkyrie is already a better deal than the last attempt.

I like it. Not sure if it's going to look like this in hypercar trim, I think it'll be better.

I do like it and the concept car livery looks alright. Can't wait to see it in racing colours

So Aston Martin lost almost $100m in 2Q19 and their share price is down 75% since their IPO in April. I’m not liking the chances of an expanded AMR racing program and their ability to move forward as an independent company.
