Far be it from me to suggest of course that the entries would have to be 'correctly postmarked' otherwise CAMS would slap a fine on Queensland Raceway for accepting entries after they officially closed! |

Those of you who doubt the reality of the recent dramas involved with the supports only need to examine a copy of the event program from the V8 Round at QR in 2004 - the pages containing the entry list for the Kumho Tyres Lotus Trophy events are blank.
Here's hoping that history will not repeat. |

Whispers from the wise suggest that the discussion on here may have prompted a few phone calls in the right direction, to get a couple of stamps licked, and mail where it was meant to land... or not... ....doesnt guarantee an attendance however, nor has it provided a response to Spunky's very valid question? Reigning V8 Supercar champions Stone Brothers Racing have completed a successful test under trying conditions at Queensland Raceway, giving them a morale boost before next weekend's round at the track they call home.
A damp track surface greeted the team upon arrival, adding to the strong winds that gusted across the 3.12km circuit throughout the day, making testing conditions far from ideal. However, each of the team's Ford Falcons completed approximately 150 laps, leaving co-owner Ross Stone pleased with developments. “It has been a while since we last tested, so we had a plan that targeted a number of goals," he revealed, "I am pleased to say that we achieved them all, and then some. “Overnight rain made the track pretty damp in the morning, and the wind didn't let up for most of the day, but, despite the conditions, the improvement in both cars was clearly visible. The team has been working hard over the past few months to continue our momentum and stay ahead of the pack and I think, today, we have seen some reward for this hard work which gives us confidence entering our home event next weekend.” Regular pilots Marcos Ambrose and Russell Ingall were joined by the team's two endurance drivers, Warren Luff and Luke Youlden, who both completed several stints behind the wheel of the Pirtek Falcon and Caltex Ford respectively. |

Picking the order is near impossible, but how about......
Locals SBR, 888, LMS and PMM/TKR will be quick, as will the interloping HRT. And PWR will struggle badly |

Is it still technically/legally possible for the business entity to keep ticking along under the Mopro banner when it seems there are moves afoot to wind it all up? Or indeed is there a Prince Phoenix on the horizon.... |

Except for Skaife and Tander the other top 9 all have willowbank as there home track so the improvement will come from the rest of the runners tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how they qualifly in relation to practise. This is how you will be able to gauge parity.
