#25 is done; stopped on track only a few metres from the pit lane.
Edit - I am ashamed to admit I didn't even recognize the WoT livery on the AT LMP3 Last edited by J Jay; 15 Apr 2017 at 16:05. |

Is it one of those Pay 2 Win MMO games?

Like an increasing number of MMOs, there is an element of Pay2Win, but in WoT it's not that pronounced, and it's nowhere near the level of gacha mobile games (even though WoT is available on mobile).

Ok thanks for the information. But I'm not sure whether my old PC can even run the game...
Back to the race, these new LMP2s sure do look much faster. I really hope they don't slow them down. |

With the LMP1s seemingly improving on their speed last year despite the reductions in energy and downforce, I don't think even the ACO will have a reason to slow the LMP2s down this year. There should be enough of a gap in lap time and the "end-of-straight" scenario shouldn't be tricky if everyone acts sensibly.
Next year however: |

ELMS does such a good job of putting on a a race. I have watched when possible for several years (since their near collapse.)
I liked them last year and this years seems even better. P3 is really coming into its own and there are two P2 chassis that can compete for the win--and they all look fast. GTE is always pretty much the same ... roll them out and let them race and it works. Too bad so many of the quick P2 dropped out ... but it is still a good race. Only drawback seems to be the weather---Silverstone is supposed to be damp and cold or drenched and frigid. seems like the poor Brit fans have to suffer with decent weather. |

Falb (#2 leading LMP3) has lost it into Copse. He's still in the lead but that was a scary moment and he might have done some damage.

They really should fix the live timing already. Very difficult to read who has been lapped and who hasn't.

And it is keeping up with some top-flight competition. Somehow I am sure no one from IMSA is watching this race. |

It's not quite over yet - traffic could still being Albuquerque within range of Hirakawa.
Edit - Hirakawa should just make it - as long as he navigates the traffic cleanly. Albuquerque passes for the lead! ELMS - IT DELIVERS. Last edited by J Jay; 15 Apr 2017 at 17:30. |

One of the biggest surprises though was the High Class Racing Dallara. Never thought they would we contending for a podium and the race lead.

And 2 cars apiece from each manufacturer in the top 6. Not too bad.
I think the Dallara could win as well if they had a more experienced team and lead driver. (Not taking anything away from High Class and Fjordbach, of course, but you know what I mean) |

Absolutely fantastic race. Loved it. Great racing, very few incidents, no FCY, all 3 chassis mixed in. Just brilliant. Can't wait for WEC LMP2 tomorrow.

Also shades of AEX's tactics at Daytona against the Taylors... back then it was Albuquerque who profited, here he ended up on the receiving end. Luckily, neither influenced the ultimate outcome of the two races.
